The weather has been exceptional so we have made it a point to get out as much as possible. Brielle loves the park especially the swings and slide.
We also have stayed very busy doing some projects around the house! I did a little upgrade to the windows near my tub and soon we will be framing the mirror in there and painting the cabinets. Chad has been working hard at getting some new light fixtures up and I love all the light that is now in my kitchen!Carter had crazy hair day at his school and this was his style of choice. Half combed down, half spikey and dyed the color green.
Most of Brielle's pictures are blurry and unhappy so here is one I thought I'd share just because.
We took a little day trip to a mall to see some impressive lego statues. Carter said this one was his favorite. It was unreal how many people showed up to see the statues. And how long the lines were to get a small free bag of legos. It was busier than christmas time!
For St. Patricks Day the kids were convinced that a leprechaun was going to come and hide gold. I try to keep this day pretty simple since I dont want it to be the next Easter. So i threw a few gold coins around the house and got a few green treats to share and called it good. The kids were happy and so was I!
Chad had to work late one morning and so we rounded up the troops and headed to the doughunt shop. Brielle again thought she was in sugar heaven!
And Mollie and I took off one afternoon with a bunch of girl friends to see the movie Cinderella. It was a little over her head but it was still fun to be together and have a girls day. We really need to do it more often!
Well how was that for random?! Stay tuned for the next big thing happening in our life! I think surgery is coming soon for this mamma on her old knee. Until next time!
