Basketball!!

Chad was hesitant to coach again this year. But I think he was glad he decided to do it. The boys are starting to mature and actually listen and develop skills! Sadly, I only got to go to a few of Carter's games because Mollie's games were the same time in SLC! Carter has improved alot! And while they had a rough season, they learned alot and played really really hard!

They didn't make it to the tournament but that was ok so that we could go out of town for our anniversary! Several of the boys asked to be on his team next year and to me that is the greatest sign of respect for a coach!

Love watching me some BBALL!!!

Saying Goodbye

The last weekend of Jan, Clyde and Evelyn said goodbye to their home in Moore to go serve a mission in Indiana! They sent us this last picture of them in front of their home as they were leaving! They got to spend a few weekends with us as they were at the MTC training because they were free to leave for the weekend. We felt so lucky to have a little extra time with them.
The girls put grandma right to work helping color and paint their cardboard castle. They got to watch Carter play bball one last time and of course we had to visit Maceys for one last ice cream cone with them!

Here is the famous MTC map with them pointing to Fishers, IN!
They made it down to watch Bri at her mini cheer clinic too and we loved having them for that. The following weekend we had to say goodbye for good! That was a lot harder than expected. There were lots of tears, alot from Chad too, which was hard to see. Neither of us expected crying as hard as we did.
The kids all got to say goodbye too.

We are all so proud of them for serving a mission and its so fun to have missionary grandparents to write too and video chat with. We will miss them and will look forward to next Aug when they can come home!

After driving EXTRA miles to get there due to storms closing the road through Wyoming, they arrived at the mission home! We were so happy to see they made it! Don't they look so happy?!

Raddest 80's party!

My friend Brynn invited us to her 40th birthday party! She loves the 80's and was born in 1980 so it was fitting! We had to dress up, we were told, so I started shopping immediately! I too, love the 80's! I found Mol some awesome parachute pants and we all had a good laugh when she learned her whole body could fit into them! Rylee was so in love we her leopard skirt and she wore it for days dancing around!
Mol kept coming up with accessories for hers and we tried our hand at a faux hawk!

Chad was the 80s tourist...fanny pack, flip flops and socks....you know the kind.

The girls loved their colorful outfits!
 The fam!

Here's the birthday gal! 40 looks hot on you girl!
Their party was stocked with things from the 80's...nintendo, movie posters, disco light, the game simon on every table, diet coke, tons of food, bounce houses,

an epic cake! and a table with all the candy that came out in the 80s! WOW!

 Mollie and Lola and friends!

Brynn and Chad, I didnt even recognize Chad until I heard him talk, and then I was like WOAH! That was Chad (Eastman)! They looked so great and are such a fun couple.
We had SO much fun getting dressed up! We love these guys and we were so glad we could celebrate with them!

Mini cheer clinic

I woke up one morning and decided to sign Brielle up for the cheer clinic! Mollie did it and I wanted Bri to have the same opportunity especially since she leans more towards dance and gym for her hobbies! She was nervous the first day of clinic but was happy when she ran into Harmonee her babysitter and a few familiar friends!

She was so cute to watch and caught on really quick! She loved getting to show off her carwheel and do stunts with the cheerleaders.

The night of the performance came and she was again, nervous! She got a shirt and a cute bow. And of course we had to put on makeup!

I wasn't in the best spot to see her but got a few good shots. She loved performing and smiled so big! Here she is with Harmonee afterwards. G&G Hymas made it just in time to the game to see her perform. They had 1 week of the MTC under their belts and could stay with us for the weekend!
There were some crude people at the game that we had to move away from. Every time we go to a HS event we have a bad experience!!!

School things

That awesome moment when your daughter tells you at 10 pm that she has to have a Thomas Edison costume for the next day at school.....WHAAAT?!!!  It was her American program at school. They learned so many cute songs and everyone had picked an American hero to study.

Thomas Edison and Abe Lincoln. After the program we could walk around and look at the posters they made and learn about their person.

 Carter's science project on display!
And Bri hit her 100 days of kindergarten! I did things for my other kids so I thought I better get on the stick! I printed her a hat and sign(that I forgot to color and hang) and a cereal necklace with 100 fruit loops!

She also took 100 fruit loops to school to count. Love seeing my kids progress in school!!!!!
