1st season of Comp soccer!

This little team has been exciting to watch! Their coach, Cameron Day, works wonders with them. He is patient and kind but also stern enough to make 10 little 8-year old girls do what he wants them to do on and off the field. He has been great for Mollie!

I can't tell you details yet, but these girls will have a great season! They had 2 tournaments over the summer so keep reading to see how they did!

C&C's 70th!

I havent always loved going to Moore. Its a long ways away and theres nothing really to do there. But as I've gotten older and busier, I NEED to go to Moore. It's my sanctuary sometimes. Where I can just be me and breathe that beautiful mountain air. It's the ONLY place I enjoy going for a run outdoors.

Recently Clyde and Evelyn have been working on their yard a lot and it is just so beautiful I sat on the exact patio and took a little nap in the sun while my children ran around without shoes, jackets, or a care in the world.

Later that night, we sat around the traditional campfire. Its always so quiet and peaceful. Carter took this opportunity to teach his gramps how to FLOSS!!!

A few cousins showed up and they kept busy running through the forest and having wagon races.
 MEEEE!

And it wouldn't be Moore if we didn't go for some 4 wheeler rides! We actually rode over to Katie's with CARTER driving for Clyde and Cleves 70th birthday party!!

70 years is quite a feat! It was a nice time celebrating BOTH of their 70 years.

Chad felt the need to photo bomb!

These little gals became best buds instantly! This is Brenden & Lories daughter.
And Chad couldn't resist but to start a little cake war.
 Clyde was a good sport!
We were so ecstatic to see Sharon had grown back the softest fluffiest pure white hair! She's been fighting cancer but is now in remission.
What a lovely place to celebrate wonderful people! We love being in Moore and I'm so glad we get to visit often! I'm grateful to the family I've married into and for my wonderful father in law who takes such good care of me and has always treated me so kind. Happy birthday Clyde!

Later in the day, Clark and Beth showed up. We enjoyed seeing them and on sunday took some time to take a few pics of these baldies! And to also tour Clarks new 5th wheel. It's fancy!

CUTENESS!

Sometimes there is just too cute of pictures to skip over that belong in the blog book! So here are a few. I wouldn't let Rylee take a nap one day and she decided that she was going to anyway and went and found a comfy place to sleep! CUTE!

Rylee is still my biggest exercise fan. It doesn't matter if its zumba, weights, or my step class, she is right there with me trying to keep up! She is so cute!
They were all cavity free at the dentist so their reward was a trampoline park! Lots of fun.

Rylee is SO good at the dentist. She's a rock star!
Showing off their sparkly clean teeth.
 And isn't this just cute?!
We also celebrated with smoothies because the kids got a gift card from the dentist. YUM!
Happy June!

River Rafting!

Our good friends the Lopez Family invited us to go float the river with them in Provo Canyon! I was  hesitant at first but it turned out to be SO fun! We discovered our live jackets are a little snug since its been a while we put them on!
We were going to take Brielle but the tube was a little squish and I'm really glad we didnt! I'm not sure she would have liked it.
It was a little challenge getting into the boat but we made it! I was probably the most squished of anyone!
Back at the park the Lopez's watched our littles and played in the sand on the volleyball court.
Then we switched and it was our turn to watch the kids while they went. It was a nice warm day and we packed a picnic and it was so nice to just relax! A family hit a volleyball into a swampy area and me, thinking since I was already wet, would just hop in this mid calf deep water and retrieve the ball....didnt' realize that it was completely swampy yucky muck! And with each step i took i sunk deeper and deeper! It was so gross!  I finally got the ball and they were grateful, but then I stunk! I hope I don't catch some disease!

Fun hike with friends

To get out of the house we drove up to Farmington area where my friend Val lives and did a really furn hike that goes back around Lagoon! The kids had a wonderful time running and breathing fresh air and hearing the screams of rollercoaster riders!

They found this cute little cave to crawl in.

And a huge tree to climb. Here's Carter soaking in the moment.

It was fun to see the Lagoon animals from the back side! This buffalo wasn't worried about us at all and let us get pretty close.

A little romance arose (with encouragement from the big sisters) between Charlie and Bri. Oh man. They may or may not have kissed in the trees.
Love spending time with my mom friend Janna. Our kids are the best and it is always a pleasant time when we have all 10 of our kids together. Who says that?!
I love the little friendship blossoming between these two.
And I LOVE getting out and getting fresh air. It is so good for my soul. I needed this day and I'm so glad I went!
