First Annual DeGiulio Turkey Trot

Thanksgiving this year was at my grandparents and my wonderful cousin organized our first Turkey Trot! Being Italian, our family really knows how to eat...its what we do well...(for example on thanksgiving, we dont only have turkey, potatoes, and stuffing...we have all of that plus ham, lasagna, spaghetti, and all the other good things you could imagine!)

So we thought it would be a good idea to get a little exercise before the feast began! Here is the gang getting ready to head out!
Carter even wanted to run most of the way.
Jordans best turkey pose and the twins running with their dad.
We even ran into a few turkey hunters along the way. :)
When I took this picture from the head of the table, I was completely overwhelmed that so much that i was greatful for was all in one room. I was blessed to have an amazing family that embraces you no matter your beliefs and differences. I have amazing grandparents who have shared their Italian herritage with us. They are prime examples of christ like servants. I love them so much.

Happy Thanksgiving!

30 SUCKS

Tommorow is my wonderful husbands 30th BIRTHDAY! We celebrated on Friday at Idaho Pizza. I had a surprise party planned for him and our friends were there waiting. I had to tell a few lies, but I actually surprised him and pulled it off! The theme was 30 SUCKS.

I made these baskets with suckers that said "30 sucks" and had some straws in a vase that said "30 really sucks!"
 The surprise.

I made a Better than...ANYTHING pumpkin cake that was sooo delicious and put 30 candles on it!

These pictures are supposed to be in the shape of a 3 and a 0. Lots of great things have happened over the last 30 years and I felt I needed to make a tribute!
30 also bites (bite size candy bars)
We had so many friends and family come. We both felt so loved! My parents were able to come.
 And the Martinez family.
 And the Browns.
 And the Whittens
And Chads cousin Lorie Taylor with her 3 (almost 4) girls
 The Sorenson Family came too!
We were so blessed to share this day with some of our very closest friends. Thanks to everyone who made it happen!

Happy Birthday to my man of 30 years. You amaze me every day at your strength and will to do good. Not a day has gone by that I have havent thanked my Heavenly Father that you fell in love with me. I hope we will have many happy birthdays ahead of both of us. So glad we could celebrate you. You deserve it. Hope you felt special because you really are! I love you!!

Newphews!

Our family has truly been blessed! My little brother Tony and his wife Monserrat welcomed their first baby boy into their family on Oct. 21. They named him Ashton Ian Reed. He has a head of dark hair and my brothers big lips. They live in California and I cant wait to get my hands on this little guy and kiss his chunky cheeks!

A few days later on Nov 1 Carrie my sis in law went in to the doc with some painful contractions. The doctors told her she was in labor and to get ready to have a baby! Little Greyson Charles Reed came flying into this world 5 weeks early! He has spent all of his days so far in the NICU since his lungs are a little under developed butis improving quickly! He still weighed 6.11 (what both of my babys were at full term!) for being so early.

I did get to take a trip to the NICU and hold this little guy for a few minutes. What a sweetie! Carrie is such a strong mom. I'm sure I would be a wreck if I had to leave the hospital with out my baby!!
We like to think he was too excited to meet his cousin. Keep getting better sweet boy! This aunt has big playdate plans with her nephews!!

Bah Humbug Halloween

The title says it all...Bah Humbug! I just couldnt get into the Halloween spirit this year. Maybe it was the stress of being in charge of the ward halloween party....or maybe some of the newly added stress I can't say much about yet. (no I'm not pregnant...) But I was NOT into Halloween this year.

I only captured a few pictures too!
Here's our sweet little witch.
 And our Bronco football player!
We didn't even go trick or treating on Halloween! Lame! But the kids got plenty of candy at the ward trunk or treat the night before.

We finally did carve a pumpkin the day before halloween. But I didnt even take a picture of the finished product! Double Lame!!

 The kids enjoyed it though.
One thing I always enjoy is our Joy School Halloween Party. The kids were all dressed up so cute and they all had a great time! I'm so glad we have been a part of this group.
Anyway...maybe next year I can get into Halloween a little bit more. Here's to a Happy Halloween next year.
