Oh Spokane, you have our hearts

By an incredible miracle, fall break lined up with Chad's days off. We hadn't seen Chet and Fam for quite a while so we asked if we could come for a visit! Oh the beauty of the fall colors and pine trees! And even the frosty mountain tops were mysitcal!

We just played for 4 days riding bikes and 4 wheelers, games, movies. There is always so much laughter when we are together. I think we all need it! The kids went to a spooky theme park one evening and it just made us all happy that the kids were out together having fun. There isn't anyone to play with B&R but they still love being there. We got to see Gavin play football and Morgan perfom in her marching band. The kids have never seen a real marching band performance and they were in awe! The kids even got to go to the temple with Morgan and some friends. 

We went for a beautiful walk in the trees to a lake. It was perfect, cool weather and so enjoyable. 

Mindy tried real hard to talk us into family pics, I wanted to so badly! But we were just out of time. How pretty would this spot be though!

I speak for the trees. 

This just made my heart happy. The kids love to sit and play together and even though my kids don't play piano, they have learned a few things to play. 

Just Beautiful! The scenery was incredible, but the company was perfect. Thanks for the great visit Chet and Mindy! We never want to leave!

 

Fun with Rylee

Tooele is coming up in the world! We are getting new stores and new restuarants and a whole heap of new traffic and appartments...but none of that will over shadow my joy of having a ROSS in tooele! Everyone was gone, so me and Ry went to the grand opening! They had balloons and cupcakes and it was so fun and exciting! When I came out of the store, it was so strange to remember home was only 3 minutes away! So HAPPY!

Rylee's first gymnastics showcase was in October so they made it Halloween themed and even performed her floor routine to The Adam's Family song. And here's her cute hair we came up with.

Ken did fun tricks with the kids as a time filler. 

She did SO great and just totaly shined. She really has learned alot and come a long ways! 

Her best routine was on beam! Wow I was so impressed!

And she got a trophy.

And so glad the whole fam could be there to support her. Being the youngest means you rarely have more than 1 or 2 family members at your things because your older sibs are involved in other things. So it was special to have everyone there cheering her on! You did so great sis! 

Mollie is 15!!

Oh girl, you're growing into the most beautiful version of you! It's such an honor to watch you grow into a beautiful young women! 

She wanted a better than anything cake! And it was delicious!

Her party kind of got bomnarded by bad weather so at the last minute, we booked the church, carved pumpkins and played volleyball and basketball. It worked and I think they had fun. 

Gifts were fun, she has grown past the toys and crafts and is all about soft blankets, shoes and skincare. 

 Happy happy birthday sis! I love that we are getting closer each year and both growing and changing into better versions of our selves. I love hanging with you and talking with you. I'm happy to have a built in best friend for life! Love you lots girly!

Fall

We've had the most beautiful fall! Chad surprised me one day with a little mountain hike to see some fall leaves. He packed some snack and drinks and we just hung out and enjoyed the beautiful fall day. Yes, we drank soda.
