Quick trip to Idaho!

It's always a great time when we get to sneak away to Idaho....and it's never long enough! But this time was especially special. At the last minute we decided to make the trek clear to Boise to go to a BSU game. Justin and Carrie let us put the babies to bed at their house and crash there later. It was Mollie's first game and she did way better than I ever expected she would. She loved it the whole time. This car was pretty sweet and Carter was drooling over it.
We sat down just in time for kick off! And no one got cold which made it even better than being on the very first row!
Mollie wore a little cheer outfit and had fun pretending she was a cheerleader.
Carter was all smiles and keeps saying that he is going to play for BSU
I stood in line for 30 minutes for these babies! but man were they worth it. WE LOVE MINI DOUGHNUTS!
And to top it off, BSU won! It was a fun game to be at and glad we could get away with our older kids for once.
The next day we traveled to Twin Falls for a very special occasion. Carters best bud, Jace, was getting baptized. We were so glad we could be part of his special day.

 We love the Sorenson FAMILY!
Happy times!

Halloween 2016

I spent the morning with Mollie's class doing the room mother thing. It was fun to see her in her element and doing all the fun things they got to do. Cookies and juice was my station and a pretty easy one at that!
Here's mol in her spider hat!
And her kindergarten class! Wow this took a while to get them all in place!
And after dinner we took the kids to a few peoples houses in the ward. Many people said we were their ONLY trick or treaters! I guess all the trunk or treats are taking over. But these kids STILL made a killing on candy.
It was a nice simple Halloween. Maybe some day I'll grow to like it again!

Pumpkins and a party

It was refreshing this year to not have to scoop ALL the pumpkin guts out on my own. Carter did a pretty great job and Brielle ended up liking it quite a bit too! It was her first time getting into one.

Mollie drew a picture on her pumpkin and Chad made it come to life. I thought it turned out adorable!
Rylee wasn't quite sure what to think of it. But she was very curious!
Brielle wanted a cat and I had lots of "help" from her as I carved. That's why this cat only has 1 tooth.
And my carter man wanted a CTR pumpkin and him and dad did a great job carving one out.
Then it was time for the ward party! There was a great turn out for a chili contest dinner and trunk or treat!
Brielle loved telling everyone she was an elephant and Rylee loved being a cupcake! I thought she would hate it but left her hat on and everything!
I talked Chad into being a caveman. He was a good sport. He makes such a good one!

And I was left to do the trunk or treat in Malificent's Den! It was fun to decorate it all up and it's safe to say we had the best trunk! Happy Halloween!!!

Mol's last soccer game and some other things

Miss Mollie had a great season this year! She was a bit more timid than last year but that may have been because her dad was the coach...although I'm really not sure why that would make her that way. She was very excited to have dad coach her team. She scored a few goals and tried so hard in her last game despite having a cold.
Ry even got out there for the half time entertainment.
Here's the team! Go Yellow dragons!
Annndd...THIS has been happening since MAY but it is coming to an end! Well the floor anyway and the tub shouldn't take too much more work. The shower is going to be another challenge but it is going to be beautiful when it's done! I can't wait for the day that it is. Chad has been working so hard on it and has done a great job!
And just because....HERE is a little halloween cutie!

My first ever Halloween shirt and a few other halloweeny things

That's right I am 31 years old and got my first ever Halloween shirt! They always have seen tacky or strange to me and nothing I would wear any other time of year. But then I found this beauty and I bought it! And I love it!
A few days later we took G&G Hymas to a pumpkin patch. I caught this sweet moment of  Bri trying to cheer up Ry. See? Sometimes they can get along!
The pumpkins were picked over and a little on the small side but everyone found one they wanted and we loaded them on the trailer and took a ride back to our car.

And we love going to this little pumpkin festival in Stansbury.
Carter ran into his buddy who was also dressed as a ninja.
Bri found a doctor pumpkin that honestly was a bit disturbing!
Watch out cowboys! This ninja is coming through!
Bri requested a pony ride. She is obsessed.
And i found a fun costume at Savers this year.  I loved the show Malificent and always wanted to be her. Here I am all dressed up for bunco night.
And here's the gang! We had a splendid time as always!
Halloween is just around the corner!

Family Fall Adventure

For weeks I've been wanting to take a drive up the canyon and see all the fall leaves and so one day I decided me and the girls would go. Here we are sporting our cute CC matching beanies!
Brielle wasn't really sure what to think at first. Rylee fell asleep on the way up so it was just me and Bri.
But it didn't take long before she was running, jumping, kicking in and throwing the leaves and loving it!

We had a really fun time and it was great to have some one on one time with my Brielley.

We had so much fun the whole family wanted to go back and play in the leaves. Rylee was not a fan at first but she warmed up (a little) after a while.

My heart in the leaves <3 p="">

Even the big kids got in on the fun.
And we haven't taken our annual family photo since Rylee was born so I guess this is it! Sure love this little family we have created.  Happy Fall!
