Ice cream look alike

We frequent Macey's often for their delicious cones! This one was worth remembering!

As Brielle thoughfully licked her cone, all of a sudden her eyes lit up and she gasped and said, " Dad, this ice cream cone looks just like your head!"
oh we love this creative little gal! She's a hoot.

C-man's baseball begins

Carter wanted to try his had at baseball again! He hasn't played since he did t-ball several years ago! But we let him go for it. He was pretty excited about getting some new gear too.
He had a really great coach and he got to try his hand at several different positions. I think catcher was his favorite. He really wanted to pitch but maybe next year bud!

His good buddies Spencer, Brody, and Brandt were all on his team and we were SO happy they were all together. That made for a really fun season!
He learned alot and had lots of fun! His little team made it clear to the championship round and was beat by a few points. The other team played a kid who was on a traveling team and didn't play the WHOLE season until the championship. Super unfair for the kids, but whatever. If the other coach needs to win at kids baseball to build himself up, then so be it.

The littles were not always so happy to be there. It was cold alot because of our weird spring. So if they weren't huddled in blankets they were bundled in coats playing on the playground.
It was a fun season. I sure wish baseball moved a little faster though so I could see my kid perform more! He loved it though and that's what matters. I'm so proud of Carter for always being true to himself. For going for things he wants to go for and making his dreams come true. He's such a great kid and I'm glad that he has his own sense of style and makes his own choices and isn't influenced by the crowd. Love you kid!

Easter in Idaho

Easter this year was celebrated in Idaho! Justin & Carrie's family are preparing to move to Indiana so we had one last hurrah before they left. The bunny had no trouble finding the kids at grandmas house!

After breakfast it was time for the EGG HUNT! Rylee was finally old enough this year to get what was going on and was very excited with each egg!

Grandpa helped with the high ones. He also hid one golden egg with some money in it! So the kids were extra excited about finding that!
The grandkids looking at their loot!
These kids have grown so much! It makes me sad they'll be away for a few years. And we couldn't take a grandkid pic without including baby Camry! ( in Taylors tummy!)
Carter was the luck one who found the gold egg!

Jord and Tay manned the bubble station!
Brielle was most impressed by it and played there for quite a while.
Grandpa entertained kids with the 4-wheeler. And we played a pretty epic kick ball game. There was no mercy shown from the adults to the kids! Just ask Carter!

Later G&G gave a special lesson on the Savior followed by a Reed testimony meeting. It was pretty special.
We went to church on Sunday and took some cute pics after church with everyone dressed up! Cute and silly boys!

Cute and silly girls - including baby Cam Cam

Bri, Greyson, Haidyn, Mollie, Ryker, Carter in the back and Sawyer, Ry and Ty in the front
The whole gang, minus dad who was still at church.
These 2 have become quite good buds and played so well. They had fun doing big boy things, playing x box and playing baseball. I hope they will be good influences in eachother's lives through the years.
Happy Easter! I've gained a new appreciation for Jesus Christ and the atonement and resurrection. How blessed we truly are to have so much given to us for the price of nothing. I've enjoyed studying the miracles Christ performed and coming to the realization that NOTHING is impossible with Him. Even in the midst of trials, we can always have peace and feel happiness if we just stay close to the Lord and have faith!

A spring day on temple square

WE LOOOOOOVE Temple Square in the spring. There is no other experience like walking onto its grounds on a warm April day. You get smacked in the face with the overwhelming scent of flowers and everything just goes quiet. The warm sun feels good on your face and back and the warm feeling in your heart swells. Then your eyes receive a color treat as you gaze on the gorgeous colorful sight of flowers in every direction! It's got to be the most peaceful place on Earth besides the temple itself.
Our kids love to run from beautiful spot to beautiful spot saying 'Take my picture here!' And they've got all the poses to go with them!

Everyone touching the temple. PLEASE let the temple touch YOU as you grow my sweet kids.

I also love to visit the Christis statue in the visitor center around Easter time. With all the blooming flowers and signs of spring, it reminds me of the resurrection and of my Savior. He is real, He really died, and yes, he rose again. And SO WILL WE! I have learned so much this year while studying the Come Follow Me curriculum and my love and appreciation for him and his life have deepened so much. The miracles he performed can still happen today. They are just different I feel. There is nothing he can not do. Especially when it comes to me and you. He is all powerful and all knowing and knows EXACTLY what we need whether it is a certain trial, or a friend, or a tender mercy. He is aware and loves me and each of you so much. Believe in him and know him.
