Rylee is 9....almost
When we got looking at our calendar to plan Rylee's birthday party, we figured out we'd have to have it early or late since we had some things planned. She opted to have it a week early, because who wants to celebrate their birthday late?! She just wanted a park play day with her friends. Easy peasy! I called the city and rented a pavilion and provided some chocolate chocolate cupcakes (vanilla too) at Rylee's request and let the kids play!
I brought water games but it was almost too chilly for that. Besides the sprinklers came on and we were getting a very nice mist off of them.
Gaga ball is all the rave right now so alot of gaga ball was played.
She was perfectly spoiled and perfectly loved at her party and it was a great day for all! G&G Reed even made it up but I guess I didn't get any pics of them!
Happy almost 9th bday babe! Can't believe my youngest is in her last year of single digits!

Let the summer begin!
Schools Out for Summer!!!! WOOO!!! Let all the fun summer things begin! Bring on the bike rides and lemonade stands and running trails and paint classes! Yes we want it all!
Carter officially started training for Cross Country! I'm convinced these athletes are the most dedicated and strong of all the high school athletes! They are so tough and resilient! Carter had a beautiful canyon run one morning and I walked along behind him. We played cross net at the park on memorial day!
The girls started an art paint class and are loving it! How cute is this set up?
We're so happy summer is here!

Weekend in Idaho
As promised, this is what I wanted for Mother's Day! A weekend trip to Boise Idaho to attend Idaho's Largest Garage Sale! It didn't disappoint! All of us found treasures and the girls at least were in heaven.
Later that day, we found our they were doing a free movie on the blue and a meet and greet with the coach! Yes please! So we grabbed some pizza and made our way to the smurf turf. They had fun games set up to play and we got to hear and meet Spencer Danielson. Brielle was most excited about this! She got a poster and a signature. Chad was fan girling too but he held it together!
We watched the movie Miracle as we sat on the blue together. It was a perfect weekend to kick off summer and spend some time together after all the craziness!
I LOVE THIS FAMILY OF MINE!

Celebrations and Honors
The younger girls had their cultural celebration and I had to try these fancy churros at one of the food trucks. YUM!
Ry and Bri both had speaking parts and did so well!
They both had little dances that they did too. So cute.
Mollie was awarded many awards at her assembly that had to do with NHS and good grades.
Proud of my girlies!!

Northern Lights
I don't know what this phenomenon is and why we can all of a sudden see the Northern Lights in Utah, but it is completely incredible! It didn't look like this to the naked eye, but its amazing to see what cameras could capture! Wow! Just WOW! This was incredible to see.

Mother's Day
Mother's Day was spent mostly with family doing the supercross thing, but I had my gift coming up for the next weekend! Stay tuned! Here's a pic we snaped outside of the church building. Love these kiddos and that they are patient with me as I learn how to mom.
We also got to go to the Taylorsville Temple open house! Wow! I feel so blessed to be in a place where I am surrounded by so many temples in all directions! This open house was short and sweet. And the grounds were so pretty. It just got me more excited for our own temple to be finished!I LOVE having my family in the temple.

Supercross
We got another chance to go watch CHANCE race at supercross in SLC! It was a toasty day and we were all set to have a good time with the Hymas fam! We found Sway, Brielle's friend right away and they were happy as ever to sit together and eat treats.
The stadium was packed and the energy was awesome Go Chance!About half way through, a storm started creeping in. A sign came on the jumbotrong that severe weather was coming and to take cover and to EVACUATE the stadium!! This is FIFTY THOUSAND PEOPLE that they want to evacuate all within a few minutes. Not possible. We didn't want to leave our seats but kept being told to leave, so eventually we did. Right as we found a canopy for covering, it started to rain. It rained hard for about 2 min. Then it was over. Just like that, they opened the stadium back up and we could go back. Here are Carter and Mollie's faces after evacuation. They were so happy, as were many others! We went back to our seats and the show went on! It made me think though about how safe we were there if an actual emergency happened!
I don't remember how Chance did but its always fun to watch him and cheer him on with the fam! Also their pyrotechnics are something to behold!
We invited Mason with an extra ticket we ended up having. Good times with Mr. Mason.
The tram ride home was so hilarious. It was completely packed and people couldn't stay standing up very well and everyone just had to hang on for dear life to whatever they could grab a hold of. It brought some good laughs!
