BMX is back in full swing and this guy is hungry as ever! He really is driven this year and has a passion for it and a goal to advance this year.
We've already seen some growth from the end of last year and we know he will keep growing with how excited he is about it!
Around this time of year he started high school football. He went for several days and tried hard. He didn't feel like he was good enough and 90 freshmen came to tryouts. NINETY!!!! He was pretty discouraged most of the time he was going. One day he broke down a little. He was so upset. I told him he didn't have to play football. That he could do anything he wanted to and we would support him.You could see a big burden lift off of him. He really wanted to put all his energy to BMX and once he made that decision he was a different kid. He was happy, motivated and excited to practice and improve. I always thought I'd have a football son, but the scene in Utah was just.....hard. And I'm 100% ok that he is doing what he loves and not what he felt like he had to do.
