Awards assembly and Festa Junina

 The last week of school is always so busy! Along with field trips, graduations and field days we also have awards assembly and Festa Junina which is a festival to honor the Portuguese culture in our school. Mollie was given several awards...but its been to long to remember them.

She's a pretty good kid!

And another day we had to get the kids all dressed up for their performances. Each grade did a dance and they were so fun and creative! Mollie's carnival costume was adored by many.

Mollie's class was up first and they all looked so cute and colorful in their costumes.

Carter's was more of a line dance and he did so good! It was after this performance that I learned how much he loved to dance! He took it very seriously and did so good!

I've said it before, but it has been so fun to get associated with the Portuguese culture and learn a little about them! And the teachers have all be so dedicated and phenomenal!

My Best Friends Birthday!

I was so super excited when Aubrey's husband, Sean, messaged me and told me about a surprise party for her in Park City at Hotel Park City! I knew we had to go! Sean paid for a big suite to have the party in. We arrived early to help set up for the surprise. 

 Her family we there and decoration making was in full swing!

 I was in charge of getting the food out and ready. Another friend brought the cake! Sean is just hilarious.

 More people arrived and we waited anxiously!

 Sean sent the text we were all waiting for and we hid and got our silly string cans ready.....then....

SURPRISE!!!!

 You can tell she was obviously surprised to see everyone there. Sean hid for the silly string event so he didn't get sprayed. Stinker.

 Then we chatted and snacked the night away! Loved seeing her so happy with Sean and seeing her get spoiled.

 It's always so great to catch up with Aub and I love that we can just pick up where we left off.

Things got a little silly as the night went on but it wouldn't be us if we didn't get a little out of control. 

 Love you lady! So glad we could be there to celebrate you! You deserve that and So much more. LOVE YOU!

End of season Soccer party

Coach Cameron has been amazing for this little comp girls team! Against what I thought would happen, I have LOVED all of it. The traveling, the uniforms, the unity and the hard work it has taken to make this team. Their hard work shows too! We had a big BBQ at Lindseys parents house and it was so much fun! They have a beautiful home and yard. 

Coach gifted them all with new soccer balls! It was like Christmas!

I put together a few things for the coaches and had the team moms pitch in. We found some fun shirts for Brett and Cameron that say, 'You can't scare me, I coach girls soccer!' And one for Camerons wife that said, "Livin the Coach wife-life." We love our coaches and recognize how much time they put in for us!

Afterwards another mom/daughters soccer game ensued. The girls won sadly, BUT I did score the first goal! We'll get you next year girls!

After this party we learned that we were the division CHAMPS! WOW! So we had another short quick ceremony to get their medals. Great job girls! Now on to a higher division!

But really you couldn't ask for a better group of girls. They are all kind and supportive and have become such great little friends. We love every single girl on this team and love to see them improve!

2nd grade aquarium field trip

I chaperoned Mollie's field trip and her cute friend Ruby was in our group. They kept busy on the bus ride by taking lots of pictures and texting them to their other friend in the front of the bus. Oh girls!

4th grade program

Carter's whole 4th grade put together a program about Utah. They really did a great job and each class had a dance or talking parts to say. 

 Carters was a country square dance and he did SO good! It was fun to see him dance. He's really growing to like dancing.
