For the beauty

The world is sure magical at the end of summer and these cute girls had their last performance our in nature at a very green park. They did so good.
With all the storms that brought all the green grass also brough some magnificent sights. Doubles rainbows.
Gorgeous sunsets!

And I started walking the canyon with my dog a few times a month. There is just so much calm up there and I love the sights and smells.

The leaves are JUST starting to change and it always gets me excited because I know more beauty is coming. This canyon is gorgeous when the fall leaves arrive!
And this is not beautiful.....but one of God's creations nonetheless.....I found a FLY sealed into my string cheese....BLAHHHH! So gross. You can bet that I wrote the company and got a gift card to make it right!

Thank you Lord, for the beauty of this earth.

Back 2 School

As sad as it is, this guy was so excited to start high school! It was surreal as I took him to look around the school and find his classes. I'm not familiar with this school at all so I pretty much told him good luck and let him go! He will be a Stansbury Stallion this year.
He rode the bus this year and was up early and eager to walk with the neighbor kids to the bus stop.

Bye Buddy! Hope you find the bus stop! (I don't even know where its at really!)
Pretty girl alert below!!!! Miss Mollie is off to JR HIGH! She was all decked out in all her name brand things that are so important to her these days. But she looked adorable! She also made plans to walk with friends to school. More power to her.

Miss Rylee was missing some teeth but she was all smiles to go back to Rose Springs in the 3rd grade! How are we here?! 3rd grade was my favorite year of school and I remember it well!
Bri is off to 4th grade! I can't believe how she's grown and changed this year. She get the best summer tan out of all of us and was shinning bring for her first day!

Had to walk the red carpet for the first day!
And as we kicked all the kids out the door, Chad and I made plans to go to lunch and hang out and relax together. He's never been home for the first day of school before so it was a nice change for the kids to have dad tag along.
And my walkers made it home safe and sound right about the same time. Both had a great day and had lots to talk about, well mostly just Mol. Carter is the strong and silent type. :)

Glad we live in an area that they can walk places and I feel good about it and they have friends to hang out with and walk together. Here's to the 23-24 school year!

Hanging on to the last seconds of summer

Please don't go summer! We have love you so much! We planned one last camping trip right up until the first day of school. We invited Jordan and Adam and their families and my mom and dad to come along. We camped at Mantua but boated at Willard because of the algae bloom.
Poor Tay got motion sick right away and had to just chill for a bit. No problem there! The kids just swam and played!
It was fun having Tuck and Cam in the boat and watching them experience it for their first time.
Carter learned to jump the wake by the end of summer with a shorter rope.

Cam learned to love the tube..Since we had a large crowd with us, some hung out on the beach and some boated, Good times!
It's not camping with grandma without some crafts!

We of course had to hit Maddox and introduce these yummy shakes to our fam. It was a hit!

Jilly was super content. She loves to boat and camp.
The gang.
My fam. Gosh they are growing!

And here we go...back to real life....kicking and screaming all the way. Here comes school! The first day is literally the next day.

Summerrrrrrrr

We felt the season winding down and we never want it to end so we planned another trip to the water.
Rylee was finally brave enough to get her first lesson in wakeboarding! WOW I was so proud of her! And she even popped right up out of the water!
She was so brave!
Carter and I were feeling not super well this trip. But we figured we could stay home and be miserable or be on the boat and be maybe a little less miserable. We chose the sunshine.
Me driving while Chad is coaching Rylee.

Carter is staring to want to learn to drive and I'll be ok when he is confident at it and I don't have to worry about it!
These girls were being super silly with the chip cans and its not always they play like this so it had to be documented. See girls, its fun to get along!
AND THEN! At the end of our boating day, we headed on over to Cowabunga Bay for some free fun! I won a contest through our dentist and it really was a fun place to play! The weather was really nice and we had lots of fun catching and chasing all the ping pong balls when they dropped them. They had prizes on them and I won a churro!
As you can see, our skin in brown and sun kissed! But we wouldn't have it anyother way!

Lagooooon!

Its that time of year when we escape to have some fun! It's nice that we are getting to a place where everyone loves rides. Brielle even made some big strides this trip with riding some coasters and sort of enjoying it!
I got this awesome pic just as the rocket was taking off. Love their faces!
Snack break!

Brielle and I rode the sky thing that goes over the park. It was fun and relaxing. We even crossed paths with our people down below!

Brielle mastered Colossus! Rylee loves coasters too!

Good times with my fam! I always love hearing the giggles and squeals of delight. Happy summer!
