Taylor's baby shower

I was SO Excited to do a party for Taylor and Jordan and their new baby Camry! The big kids had games and Chad was working on the bathroom tile so we decided to divide and conquer. We met at Arbys in SLC when Chad was off work and got a snack and he took the big kids back home and we got on the road to Pocatello!

It's not very often I get a road trip with my LITTLE girls but we had fun and they both did really well in the car.
We stayed the night at Jordans and got up early to start decorating. They were quite good little helpers.
She requested chicken salad sandwiches so I made them crossing my fingers it would be enough!

I had fun making the decorations and loved the colors she picked.
Lots of family support! Lots of new babies will be welcomed this year in our family!
And Tay was definently showered with gifts! She got some really cute things.

We can't wait to meet baby Camry! She will be so spoiled!!! After a yummy dinner with the fam we were headed back to Utah. Such a fun quick trip.

Heber Stay-cation

We didn't do much for spring break but I was definetly feeling the winter cooped up blues and needed to get out! So we planned a quick little get away to Heber. We kicked it off by hitting the arcade in a mall in slc before we picked up chad at work.
Once we got him, we made our way up the mountain and checked into our hotel. We then went to dinner at Kneaders and it was delish!

We had some time to kill before going to the movies so we walked around Pet Smart looking at all the fishies and pets. The girls got a kick out of the mice running in the wheel.
We went to an old theater to watch Wonder Park. It was cute.

Once back in our hotel the kids were begging to swim! So we let them.

Little Bri is turning into quite a fish!! I enjoyed the pool from the hot tub! It was in the best spot up close by the pool so I could watch the kids swim.

Ry was my buddy and loved the warm pool over the cold one. Amen sista.

Carter and Mol are getting their swimming skills down too. Its so fun to watch them enjoy swimming.
And once the kids were all asleep, Chad and I could snuggle in bed and enjoy the quiet! Phew!
We got up early and headed to do MORE swimming at the Kamas pool. Its so much warmer than any other pool and is actually enjoyable to be in. They all had a blast and could have stayed there all day. Again I hit up the hot tub several times!!!!

We had a lovely time getting away from life and it was so nice to take some time for us before Chad gets super busy in his new calling. Love this little family of mine and I love where we are at right now. No diapers or sleepless nights, kids obey for the most part and we all enjoy being together. Thanks love for letting us get away! I love doing this so much!

Blue and Gold Talent Show

Blue and Gold Banquet is always a big thing if you are in scouting! We planned for a talent show and invited presidencies from both wards to participate and each scout group too. LOTS of preparation went into it and made for an incredible night!!

We killed it with decorations! We had a Greatest Showman theme for the party and turned the gym into a circus ring. It was so cute! Look at those cut outs!!

The 8th Ward Primary Presidency won best skit in my book!  A little synchronized swimming for the win! So many laughs!!

Our family found the strongest man!

Who wasn't really a man at all! :)
All in all, it was an incredible turnout and really great time!

THINGS

As a mom I just get busier and busier running from thing to thing! SO MANY THINGS!! Dentist was first up on the table. Bri had her first cavity and was a rockstar getting it out. She was pretty giggly on the laughing gas. Good times!
Mollie had to have a bad tooth pulled and she worried about it for WEEKS! She was so upset and I had a hard time calming her down. Even grandma did her best at trying to calm her down before she went.

We took lots of silly pics to try to keep her calm while Brielle was getting worked on. It helped. Sort of.
When it was all said and done, she had a crooked smile and a big tooth to show for it! She really did pretty well and the laughing gas also helped her just be calm. I'm so grateful for modern medicine and for great dentists that work so well with my kiddos through scary things.

A few days later it was crazy hair day. Silly kids.

And then it was St. Pattys day. Not much happened at our house...a box of lucky charms made their appearance I think. But Bri got to have a party at preschool and everyone brought something green! Cute kiddos.

APPT (Like PTC) was one night and Mollie got to sing some Portuguese songs for us.

Oh. the Most Amazing kitchen gadget ever!!! A Pineapple slicer! Yes its amazing as it looks. Perfect spirals of yumminess!
We got to quickly celebrate Emily Maughans birthday. She is so awesome. I'm so grateful for these two's friendship. They raised me when I got to Tooele and and taught me so much!
 Look Mom! A BOW TOE!
And we finally had to retire the CHI! Rylees blanket was almost all rags. I had sewn it together as many times as I could but it just wasn't staying together. So Rylee went to the store with me and picked out her favorite material with some butteflies on it and she was so pleased with it. It was HARD to sew on that minky stuff but luckily she's not picky. She still asks for her old one but it seriously falls apart in your hands. SAD!
