This year, instead of camping, we opted to rent a cabin in Bear Lake to help the pregnant mamas to be more comfortable. We had a board game theme and I was put in charge of candyland! Here's how our sweet candy table turned out!
We all got to the house and had to go explore! We were less than 1 mile from the lake and a super cute little resort. We went to the lake in the evening to check it out. It was so pretty! But we quickly learned why its not busy in early June....it was quite cold once the sun went down!
That lake sunset though!
We explored the resort and made plans for the next day. We brought lots of lawn games and sand toys and enjoyed the day playing on a pretty much empty beach.
Adam brought his kayak. It made a great toy for the littles to sit in and eat lunch in.
Once it warmed up, some of the kids couldn't resist getting wet despite the cold! Bri hopped in right away and played for quite a while!
The kids played in the sand and I enjoyed the sun shine and stayed dry.
Adam gave kayak rides to all the kids.
That evening we had a Catan themed dinner that mom worked so hard setting up! How creative is she?!
These little sandwiches were like chess pieces.
We did a murder mystery along with it. Adam was in charge and did a great job on it!
We found the pool and the kids played in it alot. They went back and forth from the hot tub to the pool and down the slide and back again.
We hung out with Roman in the kiddie pool. It was the perfect size for littles.
The cabin had a large patio overlooking the lake. It was so pretty. We ate out there, played games out there and just relaxed.
In the evening we did some fun trivia games downstairs and all snuggled up on the big couch! This was one of my favorite parts. And we ate creamies while we played.
Look at all these cute cousins!
The next day we visited a super fun park! It's called Bridgerland and it had everything from ropes courses, to zip lines, to golf!
These slides were super fun and I loved that it had a magic carpet to take you back up the hill!
Mollie did a giant swing.
Bri and Ry did the bungee ropes on the trampoline.
Tony and Ashton rock climbed.
And Carter, Chad and I ZIPLINED!
Stepping off that pavillion was the hardest scariest thing! But I did it and had a ton of fun! I totally had to almost sit down to feel safe and feel the tension on the rope. It was scary!!

The resort had pickleball and tennis courts and basketball courts. So my sport loving family played lots of games outside. Ry loved shooting hoops.
We of course had to go get some fresh raspberry shakes and celebrate Adam and Rylee's birthdays! So so yummy!
Our family LOVES ice cream!!!
And by the end of the week, many of us felt like little Roman! So tired from playing so hard!
On Sunday, we checked out Bear Lake church. WOW! It was really cool. It looks like a regular chapel from the outside but its just an open church with chairs only set up for all the visitors. There was a good 200 people in the audience. In the peak times they say they get around 700 people attending! It was a testimony meeting and it was neat to hear testimonies from strangers and where everyone had come from!
This was such a fun trip! We loved it!!
