Celebrations

We got to start June with a baby blessing! Sweet baby Chase was blessed by his dad, Adam and we got to be there for it. He is such a mellow happy baby and we all really enjoyed passing him around!
The traditional hat picture from Carter.
My friend Robin turned 40 and had a  'death to her 30s' party. We were to wear black. It was a fun evening catered by Costa Vida with a full drink bar and candy bar. She rented a dance floor and yard games and a photo booth too! Fun evening!
Rylee celebrated all week while her sisters were at YW camp and Carter was at FSY. Ice cream was just the begining of her fun single child week!
And when it was time to go pick up Carter from FSY, we figured we'd have a little celebration of our own! We've always wanted to go do a session at the temple where we were sealed but in 20 years time we haven't done it! Since we had to go up there anyway, I booked us a room and scheduled the apt. We really enjoyed walking the grounds and remembering all the places we took pictures.
We did get to do a session too.
And we found the bence we took pics on. I could have sworn we were standing on the bench for this pic, but here we are 20 years ago, standing in the snow in the same spot!
Then we went to The Beehive Grill in Logan...OMG...soooooo good. This was Chad's burger!
I had yummy pasta and then we both got gelato go. YUMMM,
Next up, Father's Day! We sure love this guy and so when he requested biscoff pancakes, that is just what he got!
We showered him with appreciation and gifts and really enjoyed him being home.
We don't look to shabby! And he especially is looking good, continuing to lose weight and hit a SIXTY POUND weight loss! Sure proud of you dear!

We clean up pretty good sometimes! We sure created an amazing family! I can't imagine life without any of you!
And Chad kind of gets the short end of the stick because he always cooks for Mother's Day and then turns around again and does it for Fathers Day! He always wants things I don't cook. But we all enjoyed his efforts very very much! He does so much for us and his selfless and kind attitude keep our family strong and happy and healthy. We love you!
And lastly, Rylee had a summer concert where they got to play some fun songs! They played the Oompa Loompa song and that was ver fun for her.
G&G Reed came to support! We had a great time with them going for ice cream after and swinging by the temple to enjoy the sunset and flowers.
I love summer and all the freedom and fun we have to do things! Lets keep the fun rolling!

Boat Days

It's always a good day when our first boat day finally arrives. Carter is starting to get more brave and catch air wakeboarding. It's been fun to watch. I wish we could get out more in a summer than we usually do!

It's hard to know that our summers with this kid are dwindling faster than I want them to. He will be so missed, especially when we boat, when he's on his mission
Mollie is getting quite brave too and also fresh off of another concussion. We let her boat but told her not to do anything crazy.
Ry got to drive a bit!
And Bri did her thing she always did, knee boarding! She loves it though and I'm glad she has 'her thing.'
At the end of our boat year last year, Chad said that he really wanted one more year of good wakeboarding before he mabe gave it up. Around the end of the year, he really kicked his health into gear and by this day, he had lost 50 lbs! He was so happy that riding a board jut felt better. I'm super proud of him and all the hard work he has been doing. Calorie counting, weighing your food and exercising really take a lot of effort and dedication!
He's looking so good!
Passenger Princess'
And we always have to get a good tube ride in. Bri doesn't love it but her sisters make her endure it.

One of my very favorite scenes ever. I love these people and this life we've built and for days like these that are worth more than gold.

Rylee's Bday

Rylee was dead set on having a fun party with lots of girls. No amount of talking would change her mind, so once we finally agreed on somthing that was realistic, she planned a super fun party. First up was pancakes for dinner! We had a pancake bar with all the toppings.

Then it was kareoke and fun lights. They sang their little hearts out for a good hour! It was fun to hear and see this scene when i snuck downstairs for a pic.
Then it was craft time. We found these cute totes and bought iron on patches. I panicked when I didn't think my iron was working, so I borrowed one but then learned mine was in fact working (it helps to turn it on!) But I had no idea how long it would take to get these suckers to stick! I was so glad I had 2 working irons because it took me the entire party almost to get them all on.

She requested ice cream cupcakes so we made oreo and vanilla ice cream cupcakes that they could add toppings to.

Gifts were last and she was quite spoiled. I'm super glad she has such kind friends who are so sweet to her and made her feel special on her big day.
Her actual birthday was a few days later and we happened to have nothing on the calendar! We started the day with donuts and gifts and then her request for the day was to go to Lagoon...with Zhane tagging along.

SPOILED!

This is the first year she didn't have any toys on her birthday list. Lots of clothes, shoes and nike things were there though. She's growing up too quick!

So we hit lagood for the day and Zhane was in tote. He was a good sport about hanging with the fam for the day.

Rylee rode her favorite ride several times...Cannibal!
And there is a new ride called the Nutcracker and it is super crazy. Just a big swing that travels very far very fast. Mollie and Zhane and friends were just behind us on this ride.
And I don't know why we always think we will stay dry on Rattlesnake Rapids, but we never do! We all were dripping wet for this ride! It was  nice cool down.

Happy Birthday big lil sis! You're growing into a beautiful, responsible girl. You still bring so much light and happiness to our home and we are so thankful for you. You have a very special calming demeanor and we all love you lots!

OMNBR

Brielle has made quite the fun little friend group! She came home one day and proudly declared that they had a OMNBR friend group now. I questioned several times what she was trying to say and then she finally said OMNBR!
Owen, Matthew, Nico, Brielle and Riley! OH!

She had them over for a pool party this summer and they did several other fun things together. They are a bunch of cute kids who have lots of fun together!

She also played in a 3 on 3 tournament over the summer and her little team won the girls division!

Proud of you girls!

Stake Valiant Activity

This is our 5th Primary Stake activity and by this time, we are pros at planning, decorating and executing! We chose a midevil theme for this years camp and had a real live knight come visit our camp. Our Stake RS Pres's dad makes his own armor and wears it and attends festivals and things like that. His home is full of knights in the foyer! How fun. We invited, decorated, organized and carried out this fun activity.
Decorations were so simple, and fun!

It was fascinating to hear him speak about his armor and how each piece protects him and he related everything spiritually too. It was a great activity!

And his armor was incredible!

I think the kids loved it and we had a pretty good turn out!
They have been fun, but I reallllly hope this is my last one!
