MINICOS CURSE
Well football season is officially over at our house. We loved watching my brother (left #34) play this season. He was called "the best defensive player on the team" by the head coach. Hopefully he will get to go play college ball somewhere.Friday night it was an intense game with back to back touchdowns the whole game. We ended up losing 28-31 to jerome with a buzzer beater TD. All the guys were so crushed it was sad. I'll admit i cried a little even. We all wanted them to be state champs so bad!!
So Jordan, i love ya man. You kicked butt this season and me and chad are so proud of you. You're such a good kid. Love ya bro.

Upcoming events
I love this time of year (except for the weather i dont like the cold!). But there is always so much going on and we get to see both of our families which is always great. This year we have quite a few things going on and i wanted to write about them. Chad turns 26 on the 15th this month! We will probably just have a small family party for him. My brother Jordan is a senior at Minico High School and is in the state football playoffs right now. They play Jerome on Friday!! Can't wait for the game. Carter loves going to football games already!
We are blessing Carter in Rupert on the 23rd of this month at my parents ward. It just happens to be the same day as my brother, Tonys, Homecoming report from the Riverside, CA mission, spanish speaking. (he gets home on the 18th! im so excited!) So we will have both of our families there for that!
The week before christmas, my family is all taking a trip to Disneyland! it will be carter's first time out of the state and in a car for more than 3 hours. i hope he does well. but it will be so fun and im really looking forward to it.
This year we will have our very first Christmas as a family in our little apartment. We usually go to my mom and dads, but since we will just have returned from disneyland, we decided it would be best to have a quite little christmas at our house. It will be fun to see if carter enjoys his toys or the wrapping paper more.
I am just so blessed to be so close to family this time of year and have good relations with BOTH sides of our families. I woke up this morning and already had the "christmas spirit" feeling in me. Which just left me feeling incredibly blessed and happy. Wishing you all a heartfelt christmas season!

Quirks
I got tagged by Trish. List 6 quirks about youself and tag 6 more people:
1) i chew on the bottom right side of my lip when im nervous or thinking
2) i have an incredible fear of stepping on the drain in my shower and slicing my foot open.
3)i over think everything
4)i cant stand to see the white part of my finger nail. if you can see white its too long
5) i get so irritated if i can hear people clipping their nails like in church and just in general
6)i cant sleep if my teeth arent brushed.

PUMPKINS!
We spent today getting our costumes ready and carving pumpkins! it was so fun! Chad's is the big ghost, mine is the spider, and we traced carter's little hands for his pumpkin. That was a chore! Try to get a 6 week old baby to hold still to trace them! It's next to impossible! It was a really great day to spend as a family though.
I couldn't get chad to carve his in the kitchen because a football game was on and he was glued to the tv!

Growing little man

A giant sign near our house that we had to stop and take a picture by. Its a sign for a guy thats running for sherriff...but i thought it was cute.
Carter is almost 6 weeks old now! He is finally starting to fit into clothes other than onesies and he weighs 10 lbs now! He is starting smile and just be so much fun! He slept 5 hours straight the other night and it was the best night ever! Now we just have to break him of sleeping in the bed with us. He hates his bassinet so far. Life is starting to not be so crazy and i feel like we are getting on some sort of schedule...kinda!
