DISNEYLAND DAY 6

We woke up super early to take advantage of our magic morning. Not really knowing what it entailed or which rides would be open we sadly wasted our whole hour walking around trying to find something. Apparently only the rides at the front of Disneyland are open...and lines were LONG. It was not magical at all. We did get some fun pictures though at the parks entrance and that in itself made it worth it. We were glad we got the photo pass with the Max pass!

We were greeted by CHIP first thing and it was the first character mollie got a signature from!
Antoher carousel ride And the Dumbo ride.
We saw Halloween Minnie from afar....and a few Goofys.

No one wanted to go on the old Tower of Terror ride so Chad went on his own.

Because we have a Disney credit card (which paid for most of the food there with the points we earned) we got a special meet and greet with a character. I didn't know who or how many and we were slightly disapointed it was only 1 character, but still cool to spend a little time and get a one on one experience. They offered to take pics with our phones while we came in.

At lunch, I glanced over and saw the submarine ride that we rode 10 years ago with my mom. I almost choked on my food when I saw it because of the old funny squid story!

We saw hook & peter pan but he skipped off after greeting 1 person and didn't say another word.
We spent most of our day in Toon Town. Lots of kid friendly rides and play places.
There was a mini roller coaster we took Ry on...It went pretty fast, and I didn't know how she'd do. I got the best video of her face starting off happy, turning to pure fear, and then laughing at the end. She ended up riding it 5 or so times!
 Bri Loved it!
 Play place at Goofys house.

The longest line we waited in was to get into Minnies house. I so didnt want to but I knew it would make my girls whole trip. So we waited..... and waited. We finally got in and got to sit at minnies table!
Then went out back for a photo op. She was super cute.
While we were in Minnie's house, Chad and Carter went to Mickeys house. The line was shorter and moved quicker and the park worker was nice and let them come to the front of the line with us when we got up there.
Here's pics of Carter with Mickey. He might be getting older, but I think he REALLY did like it. Micky was his first love.

One of my favorite rides was the Thunder Junction railroad. Another one that scared Bri.

Chad was nice and let me and Carter try to go on the Indiana Jones ride but the line was WAY long and the ride was broken down and I was tired of waiting. But the girls were patient and had lots of places to explore nearby.
We watched the Play parade in the afternoon and that was fun to see some cute characters.
We hit a few more rides, saw a few more characters...but we were all starting to drag and not have as much fun as we did on the first few days. And there seemed to be a lot more people in Disneyland than California Adventure. I was hot and tired..and ready to go home. As we walked to the entrance we saw MICKEY MOUSE!!! With hardly any line! We raced to the line and Chad asked the worker with him if he was leaving any time soon and he said no. A BLESSING! All the kids got to see Mickey now! Phew!

And I could hardly believe my eyes when the kids were visiting with Mickey and I glanced over into this warm room and saw cinderella sitting in there with no one to talk to. I was sure it was a private event or we would be turned away for some reason...but was shocked as we walked through the door we were warmly greeted and my girls could go straight up to Cinderella and love on her!
And I was even more shocked that as I looked around there were 2 OTHER princesses there too!!!! WOW!!! How lucky could we after being constantly turned away from other characters! We were the only ones in there so we got to take our time and stay as long as we wanted! They princesses were so great and charming and my girls loved it! I think Carter secretly liked it too but he mostly stood near the wall.

The lines to the tram were painfully long...or we were just really tired...Either way it was a struggle to get back to our car. Here is our best tired faces.

As we exited Disneyland we hit the candy store and spent the last of our money on our points card to buy treats! They all wanted giant suckers and I let them because as a kid that was the exact souvenier I got when I went and it took me 2 weeks to eat it. I didn't even complain when they wanted to eat them at 10 pm on our way to our room .
But some of them got stickier than others!
Once kids were in bed, and my shoes were off, we plopped down on the bed and noticed how tired we looked. So, here you go. After a 7 day trip to CA you WILL look like this!

After a good nights rest which we all really needed we woke up and began to pack! As i was cleaning out the fridge I was noticing we had a lot to eat still. So for breakfast, they got ice cream, squeeze cheese, candy, muffins, cereal, chips and whatever else was left over!!! Not a traditional breakfast but no one complained!
After a little shopping, lunch at a really yummy place called Rubios we headed back to the airport. All the kids again helped pack luggage and were very patient getting through that big LAX airport. Again, looking like a circus, but just a very tired circus, we made it to our destination.
I hope its a while before I have to take that much luggage on a plane and shuttles, but we really had ZERO problems getting from point A to B and back again! The trip couldn't have gone any better than if I had wished it to myself. We got home and yep, picked up McDonalds to take home for dinner! HAHA thats how tired we were! Plus we cleaned out our fridge before we left. We had such a good time and I think the ages of my kids was the perfect time to go!! I love that we will have this as a fun memory and I hope they remember every bit of it!!!! We decided that we will return when Rylee is 8...thats only 5 years! YIKES! Better start saving now!!!!

DISNEYLAND DAY 4&5

Sunday we just relaxed! We slept in, ate breakfast and packed up to move to our Air B&B near Anaheim. We did hit up Walmart to buy groceries to stock our place and let the kids pick out a few souvenirs since our past experience showed it was much cheaper! I wasn't super impressed, but its just a good thing that all we had to do was sleep there or else I maybe would have complained more. I didn't enjoy the loud Chinese people on the other side of a door in our room. But oh well. It served its purpose

MONDAY: We got up early and headed to DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We rode several trams to get there but never had to wait in any really long lines.
Everyone had their mickey ears on and we were ready for some fun!
We started out in California Adventure..
And headed STRAIGHT to Cars land. We knew it has one of the busiest rides so we wanted to get there first thing. It did NOT disappoint! It felt like we were walking into the movie!

We started with these fun two rides of Cars dancing around each other and also the tractor tippin ride.

Then we headed for the Cars ride!!!! It was so awesome! G&G Reed gave us some spending money for the trip and we decided to use it to buy fast passes. BEST money ever spent there! We by passed so many people and we were on this ride in no time.
It was so cool! Loved seeing all the characters.

And it's pretty fast too! Heres a pic of us from the coaster.
Then we were off to Pixar Pier! We hit the incredi coaster a few times!

And ate churros! a few times!!! YUM!
We were trying to take a pic in front of this sign when the doors started opening and out busted the Toy Story army band!

By lunch time we had a sickie! We ate lunch in Cars land (by ordering food from my phone...the BEST THING EVER!). He was trying so hard to be strong but just needed to pass out for a bit at lunch. Not sure if it was from the rides, but I think it may have been from some bad bananas because he got sick the 2nd day there too.
While he rested we went on a few rides and took turns staying with Carter. We saw Vamperina! And the girls were in heaven. We had a really tough time gettin pics with characters the first day. Any time we hopped in a line, they would leave before we got there. So I just started snapping pics of them as I saw them!
I took the girls on the water ride...Bri did not want to go, but she went and was a little scared but said she liked it. We may have ruined her on this trip having her ride things that scared her!

The dance party was a highlight of the trip! They got to see several characters and cool off and dance with mickey and minnie!

The cutest thing was when they put the camera on Rylee and asked her to ROAR....she let out the cutiest tiny roar and everyone laughed! She was up on the big screen!
The girls made their way down front and they danced with M&M!
The Ariel ride was fun for the littles.

And the Buzz Light year ride....and we got a pic with Buzz!

We rode as many rides as we could and we were surprised when the sun started to set and people were lining up for the light parade! We quickly found a spot and I had to get a little gruff with some people who were trying to squeeze in! I planned ahead and bought lots of glowy things off of wish.com and I was glad I did!

The light parade was SO magical! My kids were all on cloud 9 and it was like they were seeing magic for the first time! Their faces were priceless.

Mollie waved so hard at every character I thought her arm would fall off. She was the most fun to watch take in the magic.

At the end of a successful day we were all exhausted! And ready for bed!
On the way out we had to make a quick stop in Cars land again to see it all lit up with the neon, SO cool!
And before we could get out of the park, Little Ry crashed in the stroller. She was such a trooper and played SO hard! We had a great first day and looked forward to day 2!
