December fun

After Brielle's birthday the girls played beauty shop almost daily! Bri is such a good big sister!
 So much glitter!
We got in a little sledding on the first snow! My phone died so i didnt get many pictures but Rylee did AWESOME! She climbed a little hill and went down on her own over and over!

The big kids both wanted to perform in the school talent show. Mollie played piano and Carter told jokes! They both did so well! I was so proud of them! That is nothing I EVER would have done voluntarily.

Rylee started going poop in the potty!!!! And earned her Barbie car that has been sitting on top of our computer desk for over 6 months! Chippy was so happy he also left a treat in the toilet.

Being silly with our new game!
Bunco shenanigans! Janna got my lovely gift AGAIN this year!
Love all the festivities that come with this time of year. This year didn't seem too overwhelming even though we were involved in a lot! We focused on serving and creating a happy feeling in our home and it was one of my favorite seasons I've had in a while!

Season of Wonder

A while back my friend Emily invited us to tryout for a childrens choir for a community christmas performance! I hopped on the opportunity immediately and once we knew they made the try out, we were into practicing a few times a week! Mollie was in an extra scene and they both did 3 songs.
Our neighbor Haley had a solo and she did so good! That is the most words anyone has ever heard come out of her mouth!
Skateboarding Santa was a hit and SO fun to learn!
Sean Farris killed it as the skateboardin santa!

They sang a song by John Denver and its the most wonderful time of the year.

It was such a fun production and the kids all worked so hard on perfecting it!
My mama heart just glowed as I watched them fearlessly perform. I was so so proud of them! And they earned some candy lei's for a job well done!

Bri Is FIVE!

Wow, my christmas baby is FIVE! That went quick! She is my funnest child to watch opening gifts. She is so animated! We let her open her gifts the night before since we had her party and the big kids christmas performance on her birthday.

She was over the moon about every gift.

G&G Reed came down to help with her party and shower her with love.

On her birthday morning she requested donuts so I got up early to go get some but learned she had been awake since 5 am or so!
Mom helped me construct her birthday cake which almost didnt turn out, but did in the end!
She also got a new scooter and wonder woman outfit to wear on her birthday.
She had a party at preschool and we took in treats.
Then it was time for her party!!! I found a super cheap bounce house with slide and we got it immediately. Winter birthdays are hard because outdoor parties are unavailable.
We took in ride on toys and let the kids just go wild.

And her best buddy came dressed up as captain america. We have big plans for these 2 futures.

 A little finger food

and spraying some bad guys kept us busy for a while.

Then it was cake time! It also was gobbled up super quickly.
Presents were next! Her favorite gift was from the Eash's ...batgirl!

I love that she has so many good little friends right now! They all are so good to her! We love you bri and hope you keep that happy care free attitude your WHOLE life!

Christmas is coming!

We kicked off the December season the best way we know how. THE SANTA PARADE! This is one of the first things we did when we moved to Tooele 6 years ago and we loved it. So its become a tradition. Its short and awesome and you get candy.
Santa stopped in the perfect spot for a photo!
Later in the day Mollies friend Ashland invited us to the Nutcracker she was performing in. Mol loved it, Bri got bored.

And to kick off our Lighting the World Challenge we participated in making 8 blankets for the childrens justice center here in tooele! We are so grateful for our Maughan friends and their example. We had a fun time!

And then the SNOW hit! oh man we got like 14 inches. It was alot and It was not fun shoveling it!
We hit up the craft fair and made graham cracker houses.
And did my festive puzzle while Chad was out of town working all week!
We've had a good start to our christmas season and are looking forward to the rest of it!
