Jazz game with sweet seats and sweet company!

My cousin Ben is super cool and always so very generous! We were so excited to get an invitation to dinner and the Jazz game for a date night! We met at Chedda Burger and ate some seriously yummy burgers and chedda tots! YUM! Then we walked down to the arena. We were stoked to learn our seats were 7 rows up from the court!!
 Hello Mr. Donovan!
Its the first Jazz game I didn't have to wear my glasses just to see little specks of people on the court. It was so cool to be that close and be able to see the sweat on them and the expressions on their faces!
Of course the treats are a pretty great part of this fun night too! Dole Whip!

We had so much fun with them and really enjoyed our conversation and our night! We will miss them when they move back to Idaho this May.

Kid Things!

The girls finally got the cardboard castle complete!
Bri and her buddy Samantha had a playdate.
We took Carter to an early morning temple trip to Bountiful! It was a really nice day but I was SOOO tired. But a good start to the day!

We've played a little bit at the church and Bri finally mastered the hoover board!
A few days have been nice enough to play outside and the girls go out any chance they can! They've been making lots of performances up that are so cute!

Bri and Ry got to go to a birthday party at Drop Zone! They of course loved it!

All the kiddos and birthday boy Andrew!
Ry loves practicing writing and doing school at home!
We finally swapped rooms with the girls and Carter. They fit so much better in the big basement room. I am so happy we finally did it! And they have done really well.
We went one day to the skate park just to feel some sun on our faces! Love that its getting warmer!

Valentine's Day and Ice Skating!

This year everyone was well for Valentine's Day and they all got to go to their school parties. I made sure the v day boxes were much simpler this year but they were still cute and creative. Carter did a basketball court and Mollies was a heart box covered in stickers. I made them keep them to use next year!

We did a heart pizza for dinner then dropped the kids off at the church where they were doing free babysitting! How amazing! Chad and I ordered Chubby's for dinner and enjoyed eating in quiet! Randomly, the WiFi in town had gone out and there was quite the commotion around town. It took us a minute to figure out how to order food with no wifi! We had to go in and order it to go old fashioned style! HA!

The kids gift was a coupon to go ice skating! So the next day we loaded them all up and went into West Valley to try it out. I was unsure about how it was all going to go down!
The big kids caught on pretty quick which I was so glad for. Then we could help the little girls.

Bri and Ry just giggled as we helped them slowly around. It took about an hour but they both were going on their own by the time we left!

It was a lot of work hanging on to them so sometimes we would have them sit while we went around a time or 2.

They ALL loved it and are already begging to go back!
Afterwards we went for ice cream at McD's.
While there, we had a little sibling arm wrestling going on. I won't tell you who won.
Such a fun day! Can't wait to go back!!!

Museum of Natural Curiosity with Mollie

Field Trips started early this year and I was glad for that because so many things are packed into the end of the year. Off we went the Thanksgiving Point to the Natural Curiosity museum on a noisy bus of 3rd graders. And it was cold! Olivia and Dakota were the girls in our group.

Mollie has always wanted her picture here after seeing Carter's floating head picture from a few years ago. We finally figured out how to work it and she was so happy.
Air drying in the wind tunnel.

Lots of fun and lots of energy released! They still weren't tired on the way home though. I miss the kindergarten trips when they all pass out on the way home!

Crafting and Cooking up a Storm!

Throughout Feb & March, despite being very busy, I found a little time to craft and cook! I decided to try my hand at sugar cookies on my own and they turned out really great! The frosting didn't set quite right but they were tasty! I made some soccer heart cookies for the soccer team and that was why I decided to make them for V-day. The soccer ones didn't look amazing, but they were ok. My friend Robyn made some for St. Pattys day and invited me over to decorate! We really made some cute ones! My fav was the little Irish man.

For St Pattys day I made more oreo cookies! YUM!
And for a RS activity we were supposed to bring a family recipe. I made pizzelles after borrowing the iron from a friend. They turned out pretty well. I learned alot! Some of the kids liked them and some didn't!

Brittney's baby shower was coming up and with an adventure/mountain theme, I came up with these for decor!

It was fun to bake and craft. I hardly ever have time for that!!!!
