17 years!

We planned a whole day adventure to celebrate our 17th anniversary. We really wanted to do a get away but with this busy life, this was the best option. But it was so fun!

We started out having lunch at Maddox. The nice fancy sit down restaurant. It was yummy, over priced and it was a lot of food! Glad we can say we've now been to the 'other side.'

After that, we took our full bellies to Crystal Hot Springs! For a middle of the week, mid day hot tub activity I was surprised at how full it was. It felt heavenly on this cold windy day. 

After we were sufficiently baked, we went and shopped around Smith and Edwards. Wow! It was quite the adventure. We could have spent all day there easily! We found some fun treasures including bon bons, a new surf rope a puzzle and more! They literally have EVERYTHING. 

Later we moved towards SLC to enjoy dinner with friends at the Cheesecake Factory. Sam and Nan were able to join us and we enjoyed their company. While we waited an outrageously long time for our table, we walked around the toy store next door and found this giant code names game....what the??

Good food, good friends, good times! 

We took our cheesecake to go and ate it in bed later. It was a perfect day to celebrate our love and the day our family started. I'm so glad I married Chad. He has so many great qualities and is very humble and is very sweet and kind to me. We have grown a lot in this last year for the better and grown closer. Its been refreshing to learn that we can always work on our marriage and make it exactly what we want it to be. I'm grateful for a partner who wants to keep growing closer together and puts in effort to stay close. Love you! I know we'll have many more happy years. 

 

Basketball

Loved watching my girls play ball this winter. Ry played for Jr buffs and Bri was invited to play on a Buffs travel comp team. It was a really hard season for both of them  but they really learned alot. Especially how to pick yourself up after a hard loss and play again!

 

Many Travels

Disneyland Trip came and went. It was perfect weather and we were so grateful since we haven't been as lucky in the past. 

I rode guardians of the galaxy.....top right, back row, death gripping the cage I was next to! It's SOOOO scary. But I gave into peer pressure!

Chad was with Mollie's team in sunny St. George. They made it to the playoffs but lost that game. It was killing me to not be there!

The following weekend, Chad and Carter took off to TEXAS to watch Chance race. It was a fun guys trip for them and they were definitely spoiled by Honda.

Chase and Hollin met up with them and they all hung out together. 

And I was so glad because Hollin and Sarah kept sending my pics of all the fun they were having. Here they are hanging out in the Honda suite with food and drinks to grab whenever they wanted. 

Cman was in heaven. He is loving following Chance and all the MX and SX riders. And Chad is such a proud uncle. 

Cheer comps

February means cheer comp season! Bri and Ry had a fun season of doing cheer together and both improved alot! i love the confidence they are gaining and watching how much they love it. 

And I did another cheer season with THS cheer. We traveled to California again to compete. It was another really difficult year and I can't believe we got to this point, but we did and the kids did better than I've ever seen them do at a competition. I was proud of them and so glad this season came to an end when it did. 

 

Day of love

V day snuck up on me since I have been focused on getting ready to leave for CA! While I'm there, my family with be in St George doing a soccer tournament. So I've been extra busy making sure everyone has what they need. I surprised them with treats and a balloon this year. 

Dad was home this year and made cinnamon pancakes. 

Of course we have to have Vday hair. 

I got roses from my valentine!

Brielle worked so hard on her basketball valentines box. It was so cute. 

And yes, her dog is for sure her valentine. 

I helped with Brielle's class party. It was fun to see her interact with her new friends. 

I have a feeling this one will be pulled out and laughed at one day in high school. 

 Happy Valentines to all that I love! Family is so important!

Adam's Family

No this isn't a scary post...just cute! Brit has been doing some trainings in Utah and because of that we have got to have Adam and his girls at our house alot! We've had so much fun playing with them and showing them around tooele. 

Rylee has taken on the big sister role that she's never got to play with Ivy and Ivy just loves Rylee!

Wren is so smart and funny! She kept us laughing and entertained!

I love these cuties and am so glad we got to have them over a bunch of times to help dreary February pass by!
