Emma's Baby Shower

We got to attend Emma's baby shower! So cute! She was really spoiled by her husbands family. Maycie got her this cute dress. And had a matching one to take on her mission for her! 

Every babyshower game you could think of was played at this shower.

High School Soccer

Despite being concussed for the High Schools soccer tryouts, the coach approached us and said not to worry, that he had seen Mollie play and that she would make the team and even get some Varsity time as a Freshman! Wow! We were lucky that his daughter is on our comp team so he knows her skills and talent and we were so grateful for that! 

This season was......WEIRD. It was strange from going from a team where the best player played, the chemistry was there, that you had to fight for your position and we knew Mollie would always start, to a team that gave everyone playing time and that had no chemistry. I was frusterated alot of the season. 

Mollie's Comp team has been playing at a higher level than what high school was. She had 3 concussions durring the season which made getting playing time hard. She sure looked cute sporting that #28 though! A senior had her #10 and so she had to chose a new one...her dad's football number. 

I'll never get over teams praying before a game. It has my heart.

Friends

Summer means more time for FRIENDS! Rylee has gotten to be quite good friends with Kate and Maggie. 

Mollie kidnapped Maddie for a night of fun and dinner for her birthday. 

We decorated the car a bit. 

Hobby Lobby to get matching hats to decorate. 

Bri went to Brighton Girls Camp with Sway! So glad they got to go! 

 

Sadness

Sadly, Summer brings fires. These 2 homes in our stake boundaries, about a mile from us, caught fire after an explosion in a shed I believe. It's so unfortunate that this had to happen and families were displaced. One family had 6 kids! It was across the street from our friends house, the Findlays, so we are happy there wasn't crazy wind and that the firefighters got there in time! A week later 3 more homes caugh fire in our old neighborhood. No losses besides a shed were had. 

 

Weekend with Cousins

 Taylor went into labor a few days early and I knew my brother was happy to have his son, but I knew he was wishing he could still attend his high school football camp. I wasn't doing much so I offered to take the kids and we met up half way and grabbed them! 

They are the cutest kids, except when Tuck wakes up in the middle of the night. I was sure he hated me. He has night terrors and only had struggles 2 of the 3 nights. We made sure to really wear them out so they would want to sleep! We had plenty of summer fun. Ice cream of course!

The fair happened to be going on so we made sure to hit it up and do some activities. These things were so fun when I had littles, now they could care less!

And we got to meet and pet this giant cow. 

We did crafts and corn hole

And of course makeup!

We hit up the Grantsville splashpad and park

And swam in the pool

Had music lessons and candy. 

And we of course had to go play at my gym!

Well, I think we did well at wearing them out!

And everyone survived! And we all had fun. 

And we got to meet the cutest little man at the end of it all. Koen Gene, named after my grandpa D, born on July 24th, his wedding anniversary.
