Soccer in full swing

Soccer is taking up all of our time! If we're not at a game, we're driving to practice, or Logan or Provo! It's been busy and fun. Still there are challenges we've had to adjust to, but the girls have been great and I feel lucky that the older girls recognize Mollie's talent and have been good to her and WANT her to play on varsity with them.

It's been awesome to have a team photographer that shares photos after each game! I love all of these action shots!

They've been pretty successful on Varsity, JV has stuggled quite a bit but by the end of the season was pulling it together.

Septembery Things Part 2

Carter took 3rd at the BMX State Race! It was an ALL DAY ordeal, but it was fun and we had pretty good weather for the most part. It rained towards the end, so I felt lucky we didn't deal with it all day.
I always think the track at Rad looks so good. Its just really pretty!
Waited around for an extra few hours for these podiums! 2nd in state points!
And here comes the rain! Just in time to get outta there.

And he crashed soon after, in the car.
Mollie enjoyed her last (yeah right) gooey snack before she got....
BRACES! How is she pretty, no matter what?!
Chad got the lovely opportunity to have a colonoscopy! His mom has had colon cancer so it moves his screening up a few years. I bought him extra soft TP while he did the prep.
I even decorated the bathroom in a bunch of "crappy" jokes to keep him entertained and smiling while on the pot. I loved hearing a few giggles coming from the bathroom.
All went well! He said it was the best nap he's ever had and even asked if he could keep sleeping when they were trying to wake him up.
I guess I don't have very many pics of Volleyball, but Brielle and Rylee both played volleyball this fall. It was SO fun and they improved So fast and so quickly. It was so fun watching them love and learn a new sport!

HOCO

One of the biggest joys of parenting is watching your kids go to school dances! I love watching my kids get dressed up and go on dates. It is so special! (And a little crazy watching them try to plan all the things and manage time!)

Carter and Brekkyn went together and had a really good time! They did a hike and a picnic for their day date and it was a beautiful day for them!

Cute matching shoes! Of course, girls can't wear heels on the gym floor so they have to get creative.

These pics turned out SO good!
Handsome man!!!! <3
Cute dates. We got to see them all for about 2 min.

Ring around the Rosie....why not?!
We all fall down.

Loved watching all of this unfold!

Carter man is 17!

This kid has grown up WAY too fast! He's a good kid and motivated and kind. I couldn't ask for more. He wanted his usual dessert, brownie raspberry trifle and then he couldn't wait to get out the door to his  team pasta party. I was ok with it because Mollie had a game and we weren't home anyway.
The gf got to come over for dessert and gifts.

And I couldn't help myself, its been a while since I got to take a treat to school for his birthday, but since we were at the school for a game anyway, I thought I'd surprise him with some popsicles for him and his team after their run. They were all so cute and happy that it was Carter's birthday and very happy to have a popsicle on a warm day.
Oh, XC kids and their shorts! Ha!

Happy birthday bud. I can't believe you're going into your last year of childhood. It's gone by faster than I ever dreamed. Your quiet courage and strength are great qualities and I hope you always keep it. You are patient and level headed and you make good choices. I know you're so excited to grow up, but try to enjoy this last year, ok?1 Love ya forever!

Septembery things

We've lived in Tooele for almost 14 years and never have hiked to the T on the mountain. It was a beautiful fall day and we started early. Not too much complaining happened and we made it! And the view was super cool.
The T is just a big tarp. Kinda junky up close, but cool from far away!
Sitting on the edge of the T
Ry is mastering making brigadeiros.
Brekkyn answered Carter to HOCO at one of his races. She stood at the start line and had the announcers call Carter out. Cute!

One night, Ry asked if me and her could go to the temple. All the fall foilage was in bloom and very beautiful. It was one of those perfect calm evenings and I loved being with my bug.

Bri got BRACES! She is rubbing it in Mollie's face that she got them first.
Bri is also running for student council. (And she MADE IT!)
ANNND we got to spend an evening snuggling Baby Koen the night before his blessing day. We all are in love!

Happy September!
