Idaho trip!

I picked up Carter from school and to my surprise he looked like a little bunny! He has had the best teachers with his little preschool and they always do cute fun things.
As I was packing up the last few things and making lunch for the kids before we left Mollie thought she needed a bunny face too and drew her own...with PERMANENT MARKER!!
She did a pretty good job though! But she was really sad when I told her that it wouldnt wash off. She said " Mom I dont want to be a bunny forever!" through her tears.I wanted to be mad but I couldn't help but laugh my head off. So we quickly used some fingernail polish remover and got most of it off

Then we hit the road to IDAHO!
These girls make my heart so happy! I've been blessed with incredible friends in Twin Falls but these two girls fill the missing parts of my soul. We have been able to keep in touch since we have moved and they will never know how much that has helped me!

Jenna had baby Landon in January and Jess is due any day now (in May) with a little girl. We loved meeting Landon! He is such a happy boy.
THEN we went to our first easter egg hunt at a friends house! She just bought a new house and had lots of land to have a big easter egg hunt on!

They decorated sugar cookies and made bunny ears too.
All the kids lined up for the hunt.

Mollie and Lily stuck together and kept putting eggs in eachothers baskets. These girls have become good buddies by default. So sad we live so far away!

Carter and Jace hung out in the pasture finding eggs.

And this kitty....oh man! Mollie fell completely in love! She drug this poor kitty all over the place. I didnt think she was going to let us leave it. She kept begging for us to take it home....JUST WHAT WE NEED! (not!) But it was kinda cute seeing her carry it all over. Even though I am NOT a cat person.
Then we headed off to grandmas for more easter and birthday festivities!

4 months old!

Time please slow down! This little gal is 4 months old! She is appears to be really close to getting her teeth but I'm sure it will be that way for months! She has two big bumps in the place of her "vampire teeth" on both sides. It made for a sad Easter trip to Idaho. But we survived.
She tried out a swing for the first time this month!
And I had to capture this picture of all the rolls in her little thighs. I'm in love! Diapers changes become quite lengthy when you have to clean between each roll!!
And here is our little bee with the master bee keeper. My Aunt crocheted this cute little outfit for her since my dad is a bee keeper.
Love our little bumble bee!!

Let the demolition begin!

The day after my birthday some major demolition started up! Carters room was formerly a mother in law apartment and had a door to the outside in his room. Not ideal for little boys who are curious! He also had a bathroom in his room. SO we took out both of those doors and moved the door to the bathroom to the hall.

His closet was the length of his room so we cut it in half and added a storage closet on the hall side.

Chad got a very good lesson in mudding and tapping from the best teacher. I even got in on the tapping!
And he did a really incredible job!

This is the new door to Carters bathroom. Which a few days later would flood our basement! A hose under the sink popped off. The fitting wasnt even tight and it sprayed for quite a few hours. When we found it there was atleast 2 inches in the bathroom! Which then lead to more demolition of tearing up carpet and laminate flooring. What a mess!! A flood is not what you need when your house is already torn apart anyway! We were so grateful that the insurance came through on this one and we came out on top! We peeled up all the carpet and turned on lots of fans and left it to dry while we took off on our trip to idaho!

Last brithday in my 20's!

Yep I turned 29 this year! It was a wonderful relaxing day. Clyde and Evelyn came to visit and Chad and the kids spoiled me very well!  I bought a sewing machine with some of my birthday money and then on my birthday one showed up on my door step from chad! Great minds thing alike. So I took the one I bought back to the store and got to spend almost a whole day shopping for me without kids! It was wonderful!

This was too precious to leave out. For my birthday Carter asked if he could make me a "birfday sandwich" So sweet!

Like my candles?! This year was also the year that I learned my favorite frosting was discontinued. And I burned my cupcakes. So it was kind of a dissapointing dessert! But Chad ordered my favorite food in from Johnny Carinos and that almost made up for it!
My mom always likes to do a birthday dinner and since me and Jordan share the same month we combined our party! Justin & Carrie got me some of my favorite rainbow chip frosting off of ebay and so for my second party I got to have un-burned cupcakes and yummy frosting!

And as always my siblings are always so good to get me gifts. Here Is my shirt and lotion from jordan and here is Jordan with his cooler from me!
All in all it was a good birthday. Looking forward to the 30s! (I think!)

a new place to call home

We have been looking for a home to buy for a whole year here in Tooele. We have liked living here and it was time for a change. I didn't want to move with a newborn baby so it was on the back burner for me. Then Chad called one day and said there was a house we had to go see. We both fell in love and put an offer on it the day it came on the market. We felt great about it. And we got it! It was a flipped home so all the carpet, paint and appliances were new! March 20 we moved in to a beautiful new home. It's a 4 bed 3 bath home with 4 levels. It's 2600 square feet with a large kitchen and lots of light. I love my kitchen! There are several things we want to change throughout the home and with a little blood, sweat, and tears we have started those changes! Things are starting to come together and I will post more pictures when we aren't living in a construction zone anymore! Here's a few pics of the front living room, master bath and kitchen.

3 Months old!

Time is going way too fast! Brielle turned 3 months old a few days before we moved! She is smiling so well now and evey now and then we can get a little giggle out of her.
She is everybody's favorite "toy."  I keep waiting for the "newness" to wear off but it hasn't and most days I'm glad. Carter told me just the other day,  "Mom, I really really love Brielle!"
She is not always amused with trying new things....like being stuffed in my old doll bed that I used to play with as a girl.
But she is by far our easiest baby and most mild tempered. She is usually pretty content to sit in her swing and just absorb what is going on around her. Car rides usually put her to sleep. She is still sleeping in our room because of all the construction going on in Carters room.Carter has been sleeping in her room. She is our chubbiest baby and I Love the shape of her belly. It goes out to the side instead of out in front of her. And she has rolls for DAYS! Rolls in her legs, wrists, neck, tummy and chin. Just how we like them!

7 years

March 1st marked 7 years of marriage for me and chad. I was sick with a sinus infection and so chad and the kids made me breakfast in bed. To celebrate we got Chads sister to watch the kiddos and rode the trax into SLC to see Brian regan. He is so hilarious. It was money well spent. Sure love this wonderful man who has stood by my side for 10 years. He brings out the best in me and makes me happy every day. Sure love you chad man!
