Carter has been counting down the days until he turned 8 for a long time! He has been so excited to be baptized and was looking forward to a new big kid bike! His request for breakfast was doughnuts and I added fruit and yogurt to help me feel a little better!
After school we picked up some excited boys and wisked them off to Chuck E Cheese. He's been pretty lucky to make good friends with Brandt, Trevor and Spencer. I think they all had a blast!
The little girls got some play time too and I think Brielle enjoyed it the most! It was her first time in an arcade type setting with lots of games and rides she could do.
All the girls (and dad) enjoyed themselves quite a bit!
The boys were all smiles!
The mouse was actually really lame. I was disappointed in him and thought about complaining. but I didnt.
The boys and Chuck E.
Carter's main reason for wanting to go there was to go in the ticket blaster. He had lots of fun and got a good handful of extra tickets.
I'm amazed daily at how fast he is getting so big. I will admit I've had a hard time cutting the apron strings a little on this one and letting him have some space. He's my first baby! I'm so proud of him and the good kid he is. He is always concerned for others and always asking people if they know Christ. He will be a great missionary!
I love you Carter man. Don't get too big too quick. Like you dad said the other night....we will always try to cuddle you no matter how big you get! I hope you will always stay close to us and know how proud we are of you! Happy Birthday!
