Women's General Meeting

Mol turned 8 just in time to go to the Womens General meeting with me! I was really excited to get to share this with her!
We decided to make a date out of it and grab some friends and eat mexican food before we went! These girls are SO incredible and sweet and strong. They already have testimonies and are such great friends.
And these friends, Janna and Emily, have been there for me since day 1 in Tooele. They are super awesome and so kind. We had a great time all together!
And I LOVE that they changed it so 8 year old girls can come to the conference. It is SO important to gain testimonies young. Our prophet gave some awesome challenges with promises to increase our spirituality and and it was JUST what I needed to hear.
We followed it with MORE general conference. I LOVE OUR PROPHET. Wow, he is so inspired and is hastening the work.
He announced TWELVE new temples! How incredible is that?! This conference was one of major revelations and announcements. 2 hour church was announced and in the previous conference HT/VT were done away with and we are now asked to MINISTER. I know there will be many changes to come. And can't wait to see where this all will take us! The 2nd coming is near!

MOLLIE IS EIGHT!!!!

This girl reached a big milestone in years!! Can't believe she is 8! And she gets to get baptized the following weekend. She woke up bright and early to a brand new scooter!
 And doughnuts!
After breakfast she wasn't feeling the greatest and since she had a big party planned I figured we needed to find out if she had anything contagious. So off to the doctor we went! They tested for flu, strep and mono and gratefully all of them were negative. We had booked to swimming pool for her party and so we kept party plans in place!
She was feeling better by noon so she went back to school so we could celebrate her party at school. Right after school she opened her presents.

She had a little nap after that and was feeling better when she woke up. Dad got pizza while I loaded things into the pool party room!
Floating bear cupcakes! I thought we were going to have way too much food, but as you know, swimming creates an appetite and every scrap of food was gone by the end of the night!
 I didn't even get a cupcake!
Since I had to be in the pool I didnt get very many pictures of the girls but here are a few. I think they really all had a blast.

Chad had just had surgery on his ingrown toenails so he couldn't be in the pool. But i was so glad that most all of them could swim just fine. She was super spoiled by her friends and family and I think she had a great party! I'm grateful for her every day and the help she gives me. She is wise far beyond her years and is so responsible. She sets goals and meets them and works hard for what she wants. She sometimes still tests me, but I know she is here to teach me some lessons which I'm trying hard to learn. She is a strong spirit and a force for good. Love you Mollo!!!

FALL play date

Fall is SO beautiful here and I LOVE that we have the canyon so close to go see all the pretty colors and play in the leaves! Bri had to collect some different leaves for a preschool project so we invited some friends to come play with us!

LOVE these girls so much! They are so fun to be around and make every day better!
HAPPY FALL!!!!

Daughters of a King

Back in FEB i was asked by my good friend Alex to participate in a huge project. I was excited and IN 100% from day 1. She took several women and asked them to portray their hardest trial and photographed us FEELING the feelings it brought. THAT was tough. But later in the evening, we got to experience what it might be like if Christ lived among us and get a chance to see things come full circle. To remember that Christ and his Atonement are real and cover EVERYTHING! It was such an incredible experience! So for several months we were asked to prepare spiritually. And as the day approached I had big butterflies!

The morning shoot was hard but SO healing as each girl talked about the tough things they've been through. It linked our souls together in a very special way and SO much love was felt in that little circle.

Later that evening we gathered on a mountain top overlooking the Draper Temple. Everyone was dressed in white ready to receive their happily ever after photos. I LOVED getting to share it with my family.

When we reached the top, Christ (Bryce) was already there. My kids ran to him to meet him and check him out. A very tender moment in itself. Doesn't this sight take your breath away?!

We had time to kill so there was a lot of time for the kids to explore and learn some guitar chords!!!

It was breathtaking to look around in the light of the sunset and see everyone in white!

I loved this one of little Lexi looking like she had some serious guardian angels!

LOVE This one with everyone who participated in the project. Looking and focusing on Christ.
As the sun started to fall, the families left and it was just us women on the mountain. I LOVE these ladies for more reasons than I can count. Many shared things with me that they haven't told anyone. All of us were in a very vulnerable position and we held each other up through it all. They ALL are so incredible.
I've learned that we all have gone through SOMETHING that will make us or break us. We have to CHOOSE to follow Christ and let him heal us. It is possible. There is nothing we can go through that the atonement can't take care of. We are stronger because of it. And happier. Our trials do not define our lives, rather what we made out of the trials that made us better.
And this lady right here.....words can't express how much I love her for giving me this beautiful gift. She is talented in SO many ways and is such an incredible caring friend. I hope this project reaches millions and touches and heals and changes hearts. I really believe it will.
In Dec she submitted it to Deseret Book and now we just have to wait and see what comes of it! But even in nothing does, us 11 women have all been changed by it forever!
