Pirate House and carving pumpkins

We were surprised one night to look out and see T rex in our neighbors yard! you just never know at Halloween time WHAT you will see!
That evening we went to visit the haunted pirate ship house here in tooele. Its really pretty impressive. The line was long and so I knew it would be good!

The automation was really fun to see! here is a skeleton sawing heads off!
Exact feelings of each of my girls on this night.

 Taking a leak.
We were so impressed and it was so fun to see each new set. Well done Tooele!

Then we carved pumpkins!

We've got Mickey, a poop, Harry Potter (which Carter did ALL by himself) and bat girl!

Prepare yourselves for halloween!!!!

Ears pierced!

I promised Mollie that when her soccer season was over she could have her ears pierced and she did NOT let me forget. The second her last game was over she was begging to go!
I was skeptical she would actually follow through with it but I figured we better go while she was interested. I let her take a friend for emotional support who had just pierced her ears a few months earlier and could tell her all about it.
The ooohed and aahhhed over all the cute things in claires and picked out a few pairs of earrings and a friendship necklace. Mollie was a champ and didn't even flinch when she got them done but as you can see was VERY nervous!
These girls are so cute! But don't let this girly side fool you....they are FIERCE on the soccer field.

After a quick stop at bath and body and orange julus we were on our way back home.

We love Lola and the good little friend she is to Mol!!

Halloween festivities

Halloween bunco snuck up on me and I didn't have a thing to wear. And I don't really love to dress up so I wasn't sad about it. But my good friend Nan who always has killer costumes wouldn't NOT let me dress up. So we scoured her sisters closet and came up with Snow white! Since she was the evil queen, it worked out perfectly!

Maria has the coolest house at halloween time and it was all decked out!

And as always, we had a good time with the bunco girls.

And another little outing was to a fun pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins! We went with Alex and Janna and kids.

They had pumpkins of all sizes and my girls were infatuated with the mini ones.
Photo op for all these cute kids we've made!
We hit up gardner village but didnt feel like it was super kid friendly without spending tons of money into their kiddie land. So we plopped down by the ducks and water and had a picnic. We sorta looked like a circus, but this is a part of my life I am beginning to embrace.
Love my friends and love fall. I don't love halloween all that much, but it's growing on me and I might even PLAN a halloween costume for next year!

Baptism Day!

October 13th finally arrived! She's been waiting for this day for only a year! It was a rough week  beforehand with have TWO kids have hand food and mouth disease. YUCK! We had many guests not come so they wouldn't get sick and I was assured by our doctor that they wouldn't be contagious by saturday. So we went ahead with it. Mol and Dad were off to the church bright and early to get dressed.
We were so grateful to Taylor for doing her hair so beautifully!
Dressed in white and ready to go!
It was such a sweet experience and I was excited to help her get dressed into her gorgeous new dress. I snapped this pic by the font on our way out.

After the baptism, Mollie requested BRUNCH! So we went to our church for a big brunch of waffles, muffins, fruit, biscuits and gravy, donuts, yogurt and bacon and sausage! It was quite the feast and I was so grateful to everyone who helped me!

Afterwards, we got some cute pictures on the church grounds with her grandparents, friends and our family.

The day couldn't have gone any better! It was a beautiful day and we felt so blessed.

Mol, your mom and dad are so proud of this decision and we hope you will remember the things you have promised and the things that are promised to you. THIS will bring you happiness throughout your life. We love you!
Grandma snuck a few of her in the confirmation circle that were pretty cute that needed to be included.
