+E Ranch

We found ourselves with a free day with nothing on the calendar so we went to PLAY! We checked out Cross E ranch and we had a great time!
Tractor rides, bouncy things, zip lines and slides kept the kids entertained until dark. We also ate the donuts...OH WOW! They were AMAZING!!!!!

The kids probably went down the slides 50 times! They were loving it!

At dark, we went through the corn maze. The last corn maze I did was when I was in high school. I thought the kids would love it, but Carter really was the only one. Mollie warmed up to it but they were all pretty nervous going in!
My hero!
At the end of the night we bought way over priced pumpkins! But it was really fun to pick the perfect one. Then we saw this giant! It's as big as Bri!

Love playing with my family! I always wish we had more time and money to just play with my family!

Crazy Hair Day

I'm the box top lady at school and so a reward for meeting our goal was a crazy hair day!
Brielle wanted rainbow hair...we tried but her hair is just so dark!

A Mollie creation

A pre-teen grumpy boy who didn't believe me that it was crazy hair day and refused to do it.
And Rylee buns. :)

 Have a fun day kids!

Fun family weekend

We talked our family into coming up for Mollie's birthday and watching our kids last games. So Adam and Jordan and Tony and their families and my parents all came. Little Wren is growing so much and Jilly was a little jealous of her I think and snuggled right up to her. Wren liked her!
Miss Camry is getting to a really fun age and is so cute! We pulled out some old toys for her to play on. What a cutie she is.
She endured all the kids games with Wren too and they were so cute and good!
Carters last regular season game was played and then we planned to go to Mollie's last game. But a kid on his team got hurt and they had to call an ambulance for him which delayed the game a half an hour. So we missed most of Mollie's game. Darn.

But they played awesome on the last game and Mollie had several goals.
And sometimes they will pose together for a picture if I bribe them hard enough. Both W's today for these two!
We were grateful for all the family who came to support these kids.
Then we came back and started getting ready for pictures. Last year for Christmas I gifted my parents a photo shoot with my friend Alex! They were both apprehensive I think, But the weather and backgrounds were PERFECT!!!!

She was generous enough to let my family in for a few pictures. The kids loved throwing leaves at G&G!

Afterwards we had a hot dog roast in the canyon and just chilled around the fire while the kids played. It was a fun, busy, perfect day!

Mollie is 10 and FABULOUS

All Mollie wanted for her 10th birthday was a desk! But not a plain desk, a cute desk. So after weeks of scouring KSL (because I'm thrifty like that) I found the perfect one! Then I picked some cute paint and spent weeks painting it and trying to keep it hidden from her.
She requested donuts and dad delivered!

Its crazy how in 10 short years how much can change. We sure love the awesome girl she is becoming!
The shirt says it all!!
She had soccer on her birthday since it was on a Monday but we quickly opened gifts after school before practice.

She patiently waited for the weekend to have her party so G&G Reed could be here. She wanted a flamingo party! (Do you know how hard it is to find flamingo things in October?!) We requested that all her friends wear pink and gave a prize to the most. It was Mollie! We played some games....

And they got to bedazzle themselves with jewels.
And ate some nachos and  pink food and cupcakes.
Such a cute group of girls!
I envisioned something a little different with the jewels...but whatever.

Can't have a flamingo party without a flamingo ring toss!
And after all the hard work, seeing her smile like this makes all the work worth it.
She was of course spoiled and quickly opened her presents from everyone.

Happy 10th Mollie! We love you lots and look forward to seeing what you accomplish in the future. We love seeing you be disciplined with soccer and committed to getting good grades. You are a great big sister to your little ones who want to be just like you. Keep on the right path and always look forward to the great things you can accomplish. I know you'll go far!

Football things

Football was a whole new experience for our family this year and even though it was a different year, I am so grateful he got to have a mostly normal season. While his coaches were quite rough around the edges they were good guys and really cared about their boys. They planned several fun thing and fund raisers through the season and here are a few.

This was a pizza tailgate party before the homecoming game.  It's amazing what a year will do in the difference of size in boys. Carter looks pretty small here.

We also did a team yard sale which I was in charge of mostly. It went pretty well and the boys were mostly helpful.
They also had the iceberg truck come to our yard sale and it was SOOO Yummy!
Another night they did a big BBQ for families at the park. We didn't get to go but Carter was able to. I'm super grateful to the boys who have taken Carter in and accepted him and have made him part of a team and given him a sense of self worth. He really enjoyed his football season and I'm so very grateful it was a good experience for him.

More Jilly

I'm vowing now to not turn this book into a dog book, but man there is not much cuter than a baby after a bath and that is the same for dog babies! She did so good in her first bath and was very good to let me do what I needed to . Then she snuggled up in a towel and went to sleep!

Oh my heck, her EARS are so cute!
I never thought I'd be the weird dog lady who takes her dog everywhere...
But here I am, killin it.
She likes to stick her head out the window and feel the wind. Its so funny!
She loves this pink little monkey and snuggling in her blanket. SO DANG CUTE!!
Jilly is still winning our hearts. She's so good to us!
