St Patty's was more exciting this year than it has been in many years! The kids woke up to their own personal trail of gold coins that led to some giant gold coins! And some lucky charms!
There was no school, so later that day we went off to Idaho for a Reed Family party! We stopped at Fizz on the way out of town for some lucky drinks.Everyone dressed up...even the littles!
Hunting for gold is tiring!
They had a treasure table set up they could use their gold coins to buy goods!
A photo booth was set up so we made sure to get plenty of fun shots!
See? I told you I was lucky!
And mom and dad were lookin adorable in their swag.
And check out baby tuck! He was dressed to the nines.
This last year has been a tough one on our extended family. Some hard things came to pass that could have torn us apart. We chose to stay closer and love even though the world would tell us we shouldn't. Hearts were broken, trust lost, long trials endured and still endure. But through it all, we chose love. And it has made all the difference. No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. Some are more public or painful, but really, when it comes down to it, our job here is not to judge or hate. We are asked to love everyone and not judge. Somedays it's easier than others. Sure the hard feelings can creep up. But if we can always remember we are all in this same fight together and working for a common goal and that God gave us weaknesses, then these hard things seem a little lighter.
Always love each other. NO MATTER WHAT.
I am so Lucky and BLESSED to have the family that I do. I sure love them.
