St Pattys Party with the Reeds

St Patty's was more exciting this year than it has been in many years! The kids woke up to their own personal trail of gold coins that led to some giant gold coins! And some lucky charms!
There was no school, so later that day we went off to Idaho for a Reed Family party! We stopped at Fizz on the way out of town for some lucky drinks.
I'm lucky to have this cute guy by my side!!!
Jord and Tay had the cutest party planned with relays, treasure hunts, games and food.
Everyone dressed up...even the littles!

Hunting for gold is tiring!

They had a treasure table set up they could use their gold coins to buy goods!

A photo booth was set up so we made sure to get plenty of fun shots!
See? I told you I was lucky!
And mom and dad were lookin adorable in their swag.
And check out baby tuck! He was dressed to the nines.
This last year has been a tough one on our extended family. Some hard things came to pass that could have torn us apart. We chose to stay closer and love even though the world would tell us we shouldn't. Hearts were broken, trust lost, long trials endured and still endure. But through it all, we chose love. And it has made all the difference. No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. Some are more public or painful, but really, when it comes down to it, our job here is not to judge or hate. We are asked to love everyone and not judge. Somedays it's easier than others. Sure the hard feelings can creep up. But if we can always remember we are all in this same fight together and working for a common goal and that God gave us weaknesses, then these hard things seem a little lighter.
Always love each other. NO MATTER WHAT.
I am so Lucky and BLESSED to have the family that I do. I sure love them.

We Escaped!

It had been too long since we hung out with our Eash friends, so we planned a escape date night. Sam had the flu so we had to reschedule it for a month later almost. Sam has missed Chad as you can tell. We finally got to go do it!
It was called the Sweet Escape and it was candy themed. It was fun to see all the creative clues and decorations in this room.
We all had different strengths and each figured out certain clues even though we got some of them out of order.
It was timed and we figured it out just in time!
We escaped the Sweet Escape!
We love these guys and are grateful for their friendship of almost 10 years! Until the next time!!!

The Kids

I'm really enjoying where our kids are at in life right now. Very self sufficient, starting to grow up and are turning into pretty good humans. I love getting to spend time with the kids in the temple! Sometimes the light is blinding when you come out!
Miss Brielle is rocking the cheer life! She is so naturally talented and loves to perform! I'm proud of the work she's put in!
She had several competitions this spring and did so well in all of them!
Ry Bug is loosing teeth like crazy and it won't be long before she looses those 2 front teeth! She's always happy and so sweet and thoughtful always.

A rare moment they captured after stealing my phone when they are all getting along....but how could I be mad, they are all so cute and happy!

And Ry is preparing for her baptism! For fun, I let her try on my baptism dress to see if by chance she'd want to wear it. She immediately said it was too scratch and tight around her neck! Kids are so spoiled these days with soft clothes and breathable necklines! HAHA!
Keep being good. Keep being kind and keep loving each other. You will find your greatest joys here!

Happy 16th Anni!

Chad and I woke up on our anniversary to our door decorated with hearts by some cute little, thoughtful girls!
They also made us a poster with sweet things written all over it. Chad gifted me this adventure date book. We still have yet to do one, but I'm excited about it!
We didn't have big plans but we took off into SLC to see what we could do. Chad needed to get fitted for a chair at work so we hit up a chair store. A man in the store wanted him to try out a massage chair to see if he would fit because he wanted to buy one for his employees and chad was more of an average size guy. He fit, got a free chair massage and I was jealous. I then got to get in the top of the line massage chair and get a massage too! It was a good way to start the day!

We noticed a sports store next door to the chair place so we went in. AND we walked out with 2 paddle boards...why not? We found a killer sale and we have always wanted them so we got them.

After that, we went to Costco where I found my dream entertainment center and so we had to buy it. We had a good laugh getting it in the house because it was so big and heavy!
We went to DI and Tepanyaki. Yum

We then went over to the fancy theatre to see Creed III. It was so good and we LOVED the recliners!!!

Sometimes the best days are the ones where we let the wind blow us wherever. I REALLY enjoyed this fun day with you Chad. I'm so grateful for the good marriage we do have. I appreciate you more and more all the time. I love you lots and i will keep choosing us EVERYDAY! Love you!

Disney Cheer trip

I was SOoOO distraught when I checked the weather for Disneyland and saw that it would be raining most of the time! I don't like being wet or cold and especially not in the happiest place on earth! But we toted our ponches and made the most of it.
We had to go on splash mountain since it is closing this year and I really didn't want to, because I didn't want to get more wet, but we did and I didn't get that wet so I was glad!
The boys didn't come as prepared for rain, so they were often found huddled under 1 poncho.
Pre comp pic!

Getting ready to go on stage! The energy was lit!
Cute and talented boys!
Comp went well, we didn't make the final - we placed in the teens somewhere. We had a handful of mistakes but I think it really was the best performance I've seen them do. So I was proud. We had so many trials this year, everything was stacked against us it seemed. So I'm proud we finished and proud of the hard work put it. It was overwhelming when it was over and I just wept because I felt proud, and sad it was over, and relief and so many emotions were flowing through me, it leaked out my eyes!

But the sadness didn't last long, I quickly drown them in popcorn and churros at DL.

We went around with Maya's family and enjoyed their company.

We watched a parade and they are always seriously magical. I loved it.
We found Ton Ton a twin - same ears and sweater!
We watched fantasia and WOW, it was incredible!

Our last day we did pics at the fountain as always.
Loved this one! Be careful kids!
We headed to the beach for some of the day hoping the sun would peak out a little....it did not, so we went for Mexican food, shopped and attempted walking out on the pier. It was cold and windy and rainy! We ran back and got on the bus. Also check my giant salad! It was huge and delicious.

Tawnee had some gas on the trip so I found the perf shirt for her!
It was a great trip, the more I go, the more I love DL. It truly is magical and if you going seeking the magic, you'll find it! It's not a thrill park, but all about putting you into the fairy tales. It was a fun trip, loved this team and love these ladies I coach with. Until next year!
