Weekend in Idaho

As promised, this is what I wanted for Mother's Day! A weekend trip to Boise Idaho to attend Idaho's Largest Garage Sale! It didn't disappoint! All of us found treasures and the girls at least were in heaven.
Later that day, we found our they were doing a free movie on the blue and a meet and greet with the coach! Yes please! So we grabbed some pizza and made our way to the smurf turf.
They had fun games set up to play and we got to hear and meet Spencer Danielson. Brielle was most excited about this! She got a poster and a signature. Chad was fan girling too but he held it together!

We watched the movie Miracle as we sat on the blue together. It was a perfect weekend to kick off summer and spend some time together after all the craziness!

I LOVE THIS FAMILY OF MINE!

Celebrations and Honors

The younger girls had their cultural celebration and I had to try these fancy churros at one of the food trucks. YUM!

Ry and Bri both had speaking parts and did so well!
They both had little dances that they did too. So cute.

Mollie was awarded many awards at her assembly that had to do with NHS and good grades.

 Proud of my girlies!!

Northern Lights

I don't know what this phenomenon is and why we can all of a sudden see the Northern Lights in Utah, but it is completely incredible! It didn't look like this to the naked eye, but its amazing to see what cameras could capture! Wow! Just WOW! This was incredible to see.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was spent mostly with family doing the supercross thing, but I had my gift coming up for the next weekend! Stay tuned! Here's a pic we snaped outside of the church building. Love these kiddos and that they are patient with me as I learn how to mom.
We also got to go to the Taylorsville Temple open house! Wow! I feel so blessed to be in a place where I am surrounded by so many temples in all directions! This open house was short and sweet. And the grounds were so pretty. It just got me more excited for our own temple to be finished!

I LOVE having my family in the temple.

Supercross

We got another chance to go watch CHANCE race at supercross in SLC! It was a toasty day and we were all set to have a good time with the Hymas fam! We found Sway, Brielle's friend right away and they were happy as ever to sit together and eat treats.
The stadium was packed and the energy was awesome Go Chance!

About half way through, a storm started creeping in. A sign came on the jumbotrong that severe weather was coming and to take cover and to EVACUATE the stadium!! This is FIFTY THOUSAND PEOPLE that they want to evacuate all within a few minutes. Not possible. We didn't want to leave our seats but kept being told to leave, so eventually we did. Right as we found a canopy for covering, it started to rain. It rained hard for about 2 min. Then it was over. Just like that, they opened the stadium back up and we could go back. Here are Carter and Mollie's faces after evacuation. They were so happy, as were many others! We went back to our seats and the show went on! It made me think though about how safe we were there if an actual emergency happened!

I don't remember how Chance did but its always fun to watch him and cheer him on with the fam! Also their pyrotechnics are something to behold!
We invited Mason with an extra ticket we ended up having. Good times with Mr. Mason.

The tram ride home was so hilarious. It was completely packed and people couldn't stay standing up very well and everyone just had to hang on for dear life to whatever they could grab a hold of. It brought some good laughs!

May Sports

BMX is still in full swing! It also has become a year round sport. Carter is doing well and still loving it and learning as much as he can! His friend Bailey comes sometimes when he races at Rad Canyon since she is so close.

Mollie's spring season ended and this one is a heart breaker because we won't all play together again until next spring. In the fall, half of the girls will go to high school and the rest will be put on a provisonal team. Its sad to break up a great thing, but we will be back in the spring as a P1 team! The first girls P1 team for Elite, EVER!!!
All the owies that come with soccer!
Not a sport, but Ry and Bri did their schools marathon run. They both didn't want to but they both did it and did well! Proud of them for doing hard things!

Rylee is still doing soccer too and loves it!

Her season ended with the Maughans as her coaches again. We love them!
My time at Rage also came to an end. After teaching tumbling to these girls for 9 months I really grew to love them! Especially the older ones. I learned alot here and I'm grateful for my time. I didn't know it yet, but bigger and better things were coming up for me!
May is such a crazy time with all the end of EVERYTHING, but we can't wait for summer! So we endure all the things!

Some May things

Carter and Mollie went with our neighbor friends to the Lantern Festival. Carter sent this pic! Its such a pretty sight when they all go up!
Mollie was inducted into the Jr Nationals Honor Society. They had a big program and took an oath and everything. She has to do service every month and report it and maintain a 3.8 GPA.  Great Job sis!
We took some cuties to a Royals game! These girls love soccer!
It was slightly chilly when that sun went down but we had nice heated seats!
A soccer mom hooked all these girls up to go to the game together! So fun!
Rylee had a game day at school where her and a partner had to create and make a game to be played with parents. Her and her buddy created a game similar to candyland and with math. They had a parents game day where parents got to come and play the game they created! I was so impressed and they had candy and cute prizes and everything! I can't say I was very good at all the math!
