Father's Day weekend

We kicked off Father's Day weekend with an outdoor movie with friends! Pulling the truck in backwards was quite comfy and most of the kids fell asleep in it before the movie was over!
The next day we woke up early to celebrate my children's father. Waffles and strawberries was on the menu for breakfast! YUM!
And the kids are always eager to shower him with gifts.
Before too long, it was time to get ready for church. I sure have a  handsome husband and I say it every year, but these kids are the luckiest! They have a father who is very involved in their lives and cares about what is going on in their lives. He's patient and kind and the best handy man around. I know that our kids will always look to him for help and strength throughout their whole lives.

And its nearly impossible these days to get a pic with all of them smiling, but here are a few to look at. :)

Chaz and Maddi tie the knot!

On June 10th we got to spend a special day with Chaz and Maddi! We were over the moon when they announced they were getting married! They were married in their front yard under a beautiful tree.
It was very simple but beautiful. We are so happy for them and so proud of how far Chaz has come. He had a rough go for a while but he's taken her 2 kids and is such a great dad to them. I loved how they involved Kenzi and Jake in their vows.

Congrats guys!!!

Rylee turns THREE!!

Is it possible my baby is THREE?! We seriously have every girl toy you could think of so I hunted around on KSL and brought home this beauty for her to play with! She was very excited about it!

After playing in the yard in pjs for a while we went for breakfast birthday donuts!

She is just too easy to please! And that smile!

Sporting a cute new romper by the baby pink roses that have bloomed on her birthday every year since she was a baby.
We had a little back yard party for her in the evening with g&g hymas and I did a little decorating for it.

 THREE!!!!!!!!
Mollie was still at grandma reed's but we video chatted with her during the party.
We opened a few gifts!

And just celebrated Rylee and played with her in the yard. It was a perfect quiet evening.

The next day we had a pool party with friends and made cupcakes and hot dogs.
Nan sporting the Trolls poppy hair that I made for the party.
And our Rowley friends were there too along with Warners, Farris', and Eashs.
We love this little girl and her tender heart. She is such a bright spot in our family. Happy birthday sweet girl! We love you!!

Mollie's week with grandma

With Carter getting to go to basketball camp at grandma hymas' house, Mollie was feeling left out and wanting to spend some time at grandma reed's. So we made some arrangements and off she went to get spoiled TO DEATH at grandmas!

They played games and crafted every. single. day. She was in heaven.

She was there over G&G Reeds anniversary so she got dressed up too and went with them to dinner!

 Silly kids.
The splash pad was one of the days adventures and in true Mollie style, she had made friends there in no time.

Grandma had fun too I think doing her pretty long hair! Too bad she wont sit still that long for me to get her hair done!

They went to Wendy's one night with the gift card I sent with Mol in their anniversary card.
And Mollie got to do a GRAND-father/grand daughter date for activity days that grandma is in charge of.

I think they had lots of fun!
I'm so grateful my kids have grandparents that they WANT to go spend time with and who treat them so good and make them feel special when they come to visit. I hope you know Carter and Mollie how special they are. I hope you will always make time for them in your lives. They will become some of your favorite people on this earth. Take it from your mom and dad who no longer have grandparents and know now how special they are!
