Bri and Ry

Two different girls, a year and a half apart...same spot learning to walk and enjoying the winter sun on the deck. I had to find these pictures and put them together to document! Such a fun memory! Love my little babies. They are both getting so big!Below are just a few candids over the last month. Soon I'm going to have to quit calling them the babies because they both are growing getting bigger each day and are hardly babies!
Ry's favorite spot to sit most days. And we can finally do a ponytail!
Brielle fell asleep on the steps one day and didn't mind at all Rylee crawling all around her and people stepping over her.

THIS AHHHH! Is another favorite spot of Rylees. She often helps herself to handfuls of cereal. She is actually pretty careful with it so I don't always mind. But she is in there all the time grabbing at whatever she can reach!
She also loves to dump all the stuff off of mollies kitchen every. single. day. sigh....
Little Bri still loves to eat and is quite the mess maker herself. Did I say I am a busy mom? Here she is after enjoying some spaghetti!
Rylee was pretty proud of herself when she climbed up on the end table one day all by herself! She is getting very mobile and can get just about anywhere she wants to be.
EEK! Brielle's first haircut was this month and turned out ADORABLE! She loved it the whole time and wasn't even scared at all. What a little ham!

She still is my funny baby and loves to laugh and giggle and tease. She is going to grow up to be a comedian!
And most days lately these girls are turning into pretty good buddies. They love to hug and crawl into small spaces together and pretend to sleep. They are adorable when they are sweet to each other but more often then not Rylee screams whenever Brielle gets close to her.

I hope they grow up to be best friends! I am glad they are so close. I think they needed each other.

My rock band life coming full circle

I was super sad when I learned that my favorite band was breaking up quite a few years ago so you can imagine my excitement when I heard they got back together and replaced one of the singers from the old band. And I was even more ecstatic when I learned they were coming to SLC! I was determined to go to this concert!! Here we are stoked to head off without kids to a concert...in the rain!!

It was pretty mild until blink - 182 came on stage and they brought the rain and it dumped and dumped until they were off the stage. We were almost clear to the back up I was still happy listening to all the songs that I have loved for over 15 years.

It was even greater to meet up with some old friends! Shawn took me to my first blink 182 concert when I was 15 and I fell in love with the band. I have such great memories of it. And here we are 16 years later back together at the best concert with our fabulous spouses!

It was my good friend, Nannette's, birthday too so her whole family came along and it made for such a great time despite the cold and rain. I stayed warm and dry but many of them were soaking wet.
I love to have friends that share the same loves. We were meant to come to Tooele to find the Eash family and fill a void in our hearts. They have been incredible friends to us and are always up for an adventure. Here's to good times and great friends!!!

Just me and Carter

My grandpa invited me up for a weekend to go through my grandmas things and pick out what I wanted. I had planned to make the trip alone but at the last second Carter decided he wanted to go with me. I am so glad I said yes. It is the BEST thing I have ever done one on one with a kiddo. I hope to be able to do it with each of my kids some day. We had a few errands to run before we hit the road which included suit shopping for his baptism and a stop at the wonka machine in the mall for a big bowl of candy!

He chatted to me the whole time, sang songs and laughed. The memory will forever be a good one.
I was pleased when we got into Idaho to find him a nice suit right away for a good price. He looks so handsome and big! We headed to Jordan's for the night to sleep although xbox got in the way of sleep a little!
The next day we traveled to grandpas and it happened to be the birthday week of my mom, her sister and grandpa so of course we had a feast and some cake.
Happiness is....the DeGiulio family gathered in this living room feasting. I'm grateful for the many memories I have eating in this room
The guys took off the the cemetery to set grandmas headstone which turned out beautiful!....

While the girls for hours sifted though jewelry, clothes, cards, journals, shoes, books and crafts. It was fun to be with people I love and see the things my grandma had cherished throughout the years.
Grandma had made afghans for all the grand girls for graduation but she got ill before I ever got one. Grandpa gathered the ones she had made over the year and let me and the younger cousins pick out a blanket. So much love went into these I know!

We were super exhausted but still took grandma reed out to dinner for her birthday. Me and carter decided to stay another night this time with Adam and Brit. More xbox commenced and it was good to catch up with both of my brothers.
I brought home quite a few clip on earrings for the girls to play with and Mollie goes in daily to check them out and touch each one and ask questions about them.
My mom was gracious enough to give me my grandmas jewelry box that she had purchased for her years ago. I always remember sneaking into her room and looking at it and thinking how beautiful it was. It is a music box and so my girls all love that too.
One thing about my grandma is that where ever she went she always had tick tacks! As we were sifting through her things we kept finding tick tacs everywhere! In clothes, purses and there were even some in my jewelry box which makes is smell minty which will always remind me of her. As gross as it may be, I'm leaving it there as long as it will last to remind me of her. I'm grateful for my grandparents and the legacy they have left for me. And for my little co-pilot who kept me awake and entertained on our trip. Sure love my family!

Carter is EIGHT!!!

Carter has been counting down the days until he turned 8 for a long time! He has been so excited to be baptized and was looking forward to a new big kid bike! His request for breakfast was doughnuts and I added fruit and yogurt to help me feel a little better!

After school we picked up some excited boys and wisked them off to Chuck E Cheese. He's been pretty lucky to make good friends with Brandt, Trevor and Spencer. I think they all had a blast!

The little girls got some play time too and I think Brielle enjoyed it the most! It was her first time in an arcade type setting with lots of games and rides she could do.

All the girls (and dad) enjoyed themselves quite a bit!

 The boys were all smiles!
The mouse was actually really lame. I was disappointed in him and thought about complaining. but I didnt.

 The boys and Chuck E.
Carter's main reason for wanting to go there was to go in the ticket blaster. He had lots of fun and got a good handful of extra tickets.
I'm amazed daily at how fast he is getting so big. I will admit I've had a hard time cutting the apron strings a little on this one and letting him have some space. He's my first baby! I'm so proud of him and the good kid he is. He is always concerned for others and always asking people if they know Christ. He will be a great missionary!
I love you Carter man. Don't get too big too quick. Like you dad said the other night....we will always try to cuddle you no matter how big you get! I hope you will always stay close to us and know how proud we are of you! Happy Birthday!
