I was asked to be in charge of the posters for teacher appreciation this year. I was supposed to be in charge of it next year but the pandemic ended that, so I was asked to again this year! I ended up making about 12 posters and here are some of them! My teen scrapbooking skills sure come in handy for this type of thing!! It was a lot, but still I enjoyed it!

Miss Brightyn's baptism
We were super excited to get invited to Brightyn's baptism. She has been a best friend to Brielle since they moved in the ward! Because they have a big family, we watched her baptism on zoom.
Chad had to officiate the baptism so we let Brielle tag along with him in person. It was a very special day. Brightyn was glowing and we were so honored to share in her special day. I can't believe Brielle's baptism is right around the corner!!
We love the Ogilvies!

Changes
I recently was offered a job to help be a competition cheer coach for our high school cheerleaders! WOW! It was really unexpected and i still don't know all what I'm getting in to....but here we go! New changes bring new opportunity! I was also asked to judge again for tryouts. We had 64 girls tryout! And 40 made the team! Wow. Such a big squad. I'm excited to learn new things!
Also for a few years I've been praying to have our exercise group improve and reach more people. I met a lady who teaches zumba and she started teaching 2-3 times a week. She has helped bring more women in and is a really talented teacher! I have loved working out with these ladies and making new friendshipsAnd I tried something new! I tried hip hop step! Its lots of different moves but similar enough I caught on pretty quick. It is a big thing among the Polynesian people. I've really come to love this group of people! And I had so much fun at the class!

Heat
Having a dog has given us alot of new things to learn about. When we bought a female dog, it never even crossed my mind she would go into heat some day! Jilly went to the groomer and the groomer told me she would most likely be in heat soon! Uhhhh...I had no idea what to do. but she was right, a few days later, she started her period. Weird. I thought I was done buying diapers!
She was not a super fan of them. In fact when we would put her in a kennel with one on she was quick to tear it to pieces when we weren't looking . Dang dog. I cleaned up many messes in those 2 weeks! Not my favorite thing ever! But she was kinda cute looking like a big baby in her diapers. She was super mellow and cuddly during this time. But I am so glad she is back to her happy self! Since then though I think she is alot more mellow and obedient. Not sure if they go hand in hand, but I'll take it! Now we have to make a decision to fix her or not!
We've thought about breeding her but dang it seems like a lot of work! But who wouldn't want a baby looking this cute?!

A Conference Easter Birthday
After our crazy week of going 4 hours south and then 4 hours north we got home just in time for my family to arrive for Easter weekend! It happened to also be General Conference weekend and my 36th birthday! We didn't make any big birthday plans because of conference so we invited my family down for the weekend. Grandma organized a glow in the dark egg hunt that we did Fri night. It was so fun to see all the glowing eggs!
The next morning the kids woke up to treats and toys! We had some breakfast and then got ready to watch general conference!
Loved having all of my family around to hear the words of our prophet together! It was an even bigger treat to hear that TWENTY new temples would soon be built! And one of them was in BURLEY IDAHO!!! What a great birthday gift!
Because of the pandemic, there was still no audience. But I almost prefer it this way.
Brielle stayed busy during conference by building this cute bird house.
I was totally spoiled by my family! Chad made breakfast, Tony did lunch and mom made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. Mom also made this cute veggie basket!

Later, we did an egg pinata! The kids lined up youngest to oldest and it wasn't a very strong one because by the time we got to Rylee, she broke it on her second swing!
The guys made a couple of hats out of the pinata.
Even though it was Easter and Conference, my family was very great about waiting on me hand and foot. I REALLY enjoyed having someone else cook the whole entire day! I was showered with presents and given money to have a shopping day!
And its not my birthday without funfetti cupcakes that Chad made for me! Sure love him and all he does for me to help me feel special on my birthday!

Our Dear Auntie Sharon
Our hearts were very sad when we learned Sharon had passed on March 25th. But at the same time she had been suffering so long and she kept falling and no one could lift her up. She had had cancer a few years ago and survived some gnarly spider bites on her legs. Clyde said she went down hill from there!
I think Clyde was pretty broken hearted that he wasn't there to be with her in her last days. But as the faithful, caring brother he has always been to her, he called her every day to check on her while he has been on his mission. At first they weren't going to be able to make it. But as family started saying they were coming into town I think it made them even more homesick and so they decided to make the long trek home!
It was a beautiful day in March. Moore doesn't typically have this warm of days until June or later! So I think we had a little angel helping us out. Chad was asked by Ronald to be a Pal bearer. An honor for him, I'm sure. He told his work that she was more like a grandma since he grew up next door to him his whole life and they gave him the paid time off for it. Jared was really struggling. I couldn't keep myself from thinking what this meant for his life. No siblings, Ronald is only getting older. He's not married and doesn't have kids although he may be married soon! I was so glad he had his fiance' Anna to be with him.
Chet and Ann both flew in for it. We picked up Ann at the airport and then took her to Moore with us.
The Hymas family went together and bought a flower spray.. Its the yellow one on the far left on the stand.
Chad and Jared have always been pretty close. I was happy to snap a picture of them together!
And the kids were thrilled to death to see G&G Hymas for a day before they started their long trek back to Indiana! They are such troopers! They have made that long drive TWICE for family things. Rylee and Bri couldn't get enough grandma snuggles!
We received this picture the day before Sharon passed. Poor sweet angel lady. We love her so much!
I know she will be our PERSONAL guardian angel along with many other Hymas'. She was always so caring and I'm sure that her loving and caring soul will stay with her on the other side.
