Performances

And since we are coming into Maycember, we have many performances to attend!
We started with Brielle's orchestra concert. It's so fun to see her improve and grow in this talent. And she really does love it.

The following night we had Rylee's Band concert. She also sounded so good!

We also attended the Nutcracker to watch Rylee's friend, Maggie. And who do you know was there too, just Elder Uctdorf. The girls all went to meet him. It was super cute and he was very gracious to everyone who wanted to say hello.
Ry, and Kate and Maggie after the performance. It was fun to go to watch but I had so many things on my mind trying to get ready to go to Panama the following day!!! Here we go!

Happy birthday Chad!

Chad is 43! He really wanted biscoff pancakes, so that's what he got! It was nice that he had the day off this year so we could actually celebrate him.
Gift and treats follow.
We went to a new pizza place that was SO yummy for lunch with the fam. We are big fans of Via 313.
Look at those toppings and cheeeeeeese.
For the evening, I blind folded him and had a surprise for him!
I asked my good friend Lori if we could borrow her movie room to watch the BSU game in. He had no clue where he was at! I brought snacks and cake and drinks and we had fun watching the game with Glen and Lori.

These girls settled right in and got all cozy.
So cool that we all had a recliner!
And I attempted a biscoff cake....it was ok... I'm not sure I'd do it again, but he said he liked it.

Watching the game in style! Sad they lost the game, but it was still a good time!

The Tree

Since we have a big vacation coming up, I really wanted to get the tree up so it would all be done and we could just enjoy the few weeks before Christmas. So by Nov 8 this year, I had her up.  This years choice was white and teal. And I really loved it.
Me and Ry were laying under it when it was done and Jilly crawled right up under there. So cute.

Isn't she lovely! I still beleive I need taller ceiling! And then a taller tree.  :)
And they are pretty lovely too.

Sports

Two days before high school basketball tryouts, Mollie told me she wanted to try out. Not wanting to crush her dreams (because she's never played basketball a day in her life before) and really wanting to let her have a great high school expereince, I said sure, why not?

And lo and behold, she made the team!
At the parent meeting, the coach approached me and said how much of a hustler she was and chuckled and said, "She didn't make the team because of skill, but I saw something I could work with and she is very athletic!" This girl can do anything she puts her mind to!

It's been fun watching her learn something new and succeed at it. She has received player of the week and player of the game several times.

I don't have many XC pics of Carter running, he's too hard to catch a lot of times! But here he is post race.

Brielle is in basketball too! At first, Bri was a bit disapointed that Mollie was also doing basketball too. She just wanted it to be her 'thing.' But after a good talk, we encouraged her to use it as something to bond over and challenge each other at. She agreed to that idea.

She has improved alot this season!

Oh and she's in cheer too! She had her showcase with her cheer team and did super well! She is so strong and I love watching her perform and show off her 'stage face!'

It's a busy life, but a really, really good one.

All Halloween things

No one really wanted to carve pumpkins this year but Bri and Ry did! She did this Bluey pumpkin all on her own!
And I loved Bri's pumpkin with braces! So creative!
Dress up day at Kens Gym with my little cute team!
Dress up day 2
Ward party, trunk or treat and dinner.
Yes I dressed up again..I plan to simplify next year. But it's such a fun theme I had to do it one more time.
Bri and friends.
All the primary kids in costume.
We always get fun compliments on our trunk. I told Chad one more year, and then I threw that board away. It was fun for the time we had it!
This year we had one more character with us! Embarassment!

Ry at her school parade. Her and her friends had planned for a year to do the Bluey characters and they pulled it off!

Dinner was mummy pizza.
Mol and Pais did minions and trick or treated through our neighborhood on halloween. Too cute girls!
Too much candy, as usual.

And speaking of pumpkins, this is the CUTEST jackolantern I've ever see!
Happy Halloween! It's always really busy, and I still don't love it, but I'm getting better at embracing it!
