7 months!

 This last 7 months has gone by too fast. This little lady is growing and changing every day! She weighs almost 20 pounds (84%)! And is short and fat.

 This month she started sitting up all on her own! She is so fun and SO happy! She will smile at anyone who will look at her and giggle any time she is tickled.

 She loves soft things and chewing on tags. She eats TONS of food. I hope she will be my only child who eats well. Because the other two sure don't!

She loves to roll all over the place and does well at getting around when she wants to get something. (Like my coupons that she ate the other day...totally gone.)

Usually this is where I beg for time to slow down, but since I know it won't, I will plead to remember her like this. Remember her smiles and kisses and her "Booty shakes." Remember her rolls in her wrist and 5 rolls on each thigh. And how she likes to snuggle right up to me to fall asleep. Oh please remember these times!

Hymas Reunion

 The Hymas reunion could be summed up in 4 words: treats, bonfires, volleyball, and motorcycles! We always have a fun relaxing time in Moore and enjoy seeing everyone. This year Clark, Chris, and Chet, and Ann  were unable to make it. But the rest were there!

 Jarrett rebroke his femur along with the metal plate in his leg and recently had a rod put in his femer but he still came and hobled around on crutches and played a few games with the boys.

 The temps were scorching so the kids played in the sprinkler and pool all day when they werent riding motorcycles.

 The boys helped Clyde fix his fence and here is Clyde and Brett taking a break.

 Cami & Kaylie played wig dress up on the girl cousins for Cami's new Irish Dancing website she is getting ready to launch.

 And the girls marked Brielle with their lipstick with some kisses.

Brielle was such a good baby and everyone kept saying how happy she was. Sure love her!

 As for Carter, I couldnt keep him off the little 50 that his uncle chris loaned him for the reunion. He was in heaven and even snuck away to the dirt track a few times to try it out. Thankfully there were no major crashes!

 And every night we sat around the bonfire and roasted marshmallows. When my kids think of grandma & grandpas when they grow up I hope they remember the fires.

 A bright flash helped Bri make this face. She was mesmerized by the fire.

 And whats a Hymas reunion without a little friendly competition? Volleyball was in full swing every night we were there. Carter even got in on it and did pretty good! Good times!

So grateful I come from 2 great families who love to get together and have fun. Love my Hymas family!

Family pictures

 AHH! Family pictures are such a pain! But despite having to deal with all 3 kids attitudes and distractions of being in nature we got a few good shots. These are completely unedited and raw images, but I wanted to share anyway.

Carter was such a cheeser and we got several good shots of him. Such a handsome kid!

 Mollie is really good at doing a fake smile and her hair was ruined by the time we got to where we were taking spots...but still with my mother in law's mad skills, we got a handful of cute shots of her.

 Bri had just started sitting up this week so we tried really hard to position her on the rock so she wouldn't tumble off. And we got a few smiles!!

 It's a miracle that she caught anyone smiling because I was getting pretty grouchy trying to get all the kids to hold still and smile!

 I love this shot of my boys. They sure are best buddies.

 And she captured a few of me and Chad while our kids got muddy in the stream. :)

 And the girls! This one was the most challenging but I think we got 1 good shot our of maybe 100 that she snapped. Seriously! It was crazy. You can see it on my face that I had pretty much given up by this time.

All in all, I'm glad we did it! Because it might be a while again before I want to put myself through that! Grateful for a talented mother in law with a quick finger who can capture precious moments. Sure love my cant-sit-still-to-save-their-lives-FAMILY!

Independance Day

 We kicked off the 4th of July week with seeing How to Train Your Dragon 2 at the drive in. It was really fun except for the rude truckful of teenage girls that I almost throat punched for being so loud. :)

And painting Mollie's and my nails all patriotic... that lasted for about 2 minutes.

 G&G Hymas joined us for the 4th and sat through a scorching hot parade with the kids. People here in Tooele are funny. They have their chairs out lining main street for a whole week in advance before the parade.

 It was long and hot but all the kids enjoyed it and got lots of candy. The favorites of the parade? a unicycle and a yellow race car.

 Happy 4th of July! As the flags came by, I felt incredibly blessed but also shamed in myself that I didnt take more pride in living in a free country or that I show more respect for the flag. I hope its something I can teach my children to appreciate more.

 We quickly did some family pictures (in the next post!) and then took off to a friends house for a BBQ and fireworks. This is Sheila, my firework loving friend.

 The kids were so anxious to get the party started!

 Bri even got a glow stick crown.

 Bri was a trooper and wasnt scared at all from the fireworks but watched very intently. Then fell asleep.

 Got a kick out of these 3 snuggling in the wagon watching fireworks.

 We then came home and did a few of our own fireworks. Ariel fireworks were made legal last year in  Utah and ALL night long in every direction you looked amazing firework shows were going off. Such a fun night!

For our first 4th of July in Idaho, it didn't disappoint!
