I spent Halloween day helping with Carter's school party. I did a candy toss into baskets they wore on their heads. It was good fun. They also learned the Thriller dance and did it all together at the end of the party.
Then we attempted Trick or Treat on Main Street. We've lived here 7 years and it was our first time trying it out. It was fun and exciting to see what each store came up with. The church on main did a whole lot of stuff inside for the kids and Noah was even in there telling the story of the ark. At the end of it we got candy from Jesus! Wow that was a first!
Nannette and her girls went with us and it was fun but a lot of walking for someone's tiny legs.
I was glad the sun came out and the melted the snow. I wasn't wanting to go out at night and freeze!
We dropped the big kids off with friends to go do more trick or treating and Chad and I enjoyed the afternoon with the littles.
I made a pizza mummy and it was a good thing the big kids were gone because it didn't feed very many! But it was tasty.
We took the girls to the Smiths and to Sis. Nash. They always love having the kids come.
And the sunset was incredible! What a pretty halloween sky!
Darci, my friend, sent me this picture as the kids were heading out. They live up on the "rich hill" and were so excited to go.
Here's to sugar fits and tummy aches! Happy Halloween!
