We had a stretch of weather that was in the 90's so we made sure to plan to get wet on those days! We spent one afternoon at the Stansbury Lake which was actually quite enjoyable. My kids are getting more independent in water and its so nice! Look at this little gal just chillin in a donut!
I've dreamed of the day when we could take a family bike ride! I loved them as a kid and they were few and far between. Living in the country that is ALL we had to do. I drove many miles on my purple bike! But this finally happened and everyone did pretty well!
We spent one afternoon with Ogilvies playing in the water.
How many kids can you fit in a kiddie pool!?
Carter has made quite the fun little group of friends in the neighborhood. FINALLY! We seriously have fasted and prayed for this for about a year and he finally not only got one friend, but several! He has been so happy and has planned pool parties, nerf wars and bike rides with his posse.
We explored South Willow and found some fun rope swings and places to skip rocks.
And on another hot day we tried to hit up a splash pad but the water part wasn't open yet. the kids played on the park area for quite a while
I had heard there was sandy beach in Herriman and since we were only about 10 min away we decided to check it out! It was great! The sand was nice and the water felt good! It was a fun little gem to discover and a place we will for sure visit again!
