Brielle's Blessing Day

Brielle's blessing day was on Feb 2 which also happened to be ground hogs day and super bowl sunday! It was a bright and sunny day and we had many friends and family who came to support us. I had planned for Brielle to wear my blessing dress that I wore as a baby (mollie wore it too) and a few days before the blessing I tried it on her and it wouldnt button up! I wanted to cry! This little girl is quite chunky! With the blessing only a few days away I figured we would just have to make it work since my options in tooele to find a dress were slim to none. My mom must have been inspired because a few hours later she called and asked if she could buy a blessing dress for brielle and that she had found one she really liked. SHe described it to me and it was almost the exact dress i had looked at online but it wouldnt have gotten here in time if i ordered online and it was a better price! So Grandma Reed saved the day and bought a beautiful blessing dress for her. She even bought it in a 3 month size and it STILL barely buttoned around Bri! It was a beautiful day and Chad gave a wonderful blessing. I wanted to take pictures of who all came but only got a few of them done. So just for the record here is a list of who was there that day. G&G Reed, G&G Hymas, Cami, Kaylie, Mason, & Koen, Chads boss and his family, Brett Hymas and his family, Shayne and Jordan & Taylor, & Jon & Natalie, and my good friend, Aubrey Schut. It was a very special day and we felt so blessed. On this day we also broke the news to our parents that we are buying a new home! More on that to come later...

We need a beach....

Carter came down the stairs one freezing February day and said "Mom we need a beach." ...I totaly agree Carter
So they got their suits on and pretended to be sun bathing....
And made some sand and water.
Pretty creative if you ask me.

1 month old!

Jan 10 Brielle turned 1 month old! To celebrate, Mollie helped me paint her toes for the first time! Bri is such an easy happy baby. She is sleeping 5-6 hours straight most nights and eats so well. She is gaining weight very quickly and has all of us so in love with her! She loves to be bundled up and warm and cozy. She will sleep for hours if she is warm. I tried out my carrier with her and took her grocery shopping and she slept the whole time. She loved it. I was soaked in sweat when it was all said and done, but I was able to accomplish getting grocerys! The kids are so in love with her and so are me and Chad. When she is ready to go to sleep she nuzzles her little face right into my neck and passes out. I love that she loves that spot! She is growing way to fast and I want her to stay little forever!

One for the Blog Book

Christmas brought me a new headboard (finished by my hubby) And a new camera! WAHOO! I wanted to capture a few sibling photos. It's not easy getting these 3 to sit still but here is what we got. I am incredibly blessed to be called their mom. Sure love those tiny feet!

Good Bye 2013

Chad had the whole week after Christmas off so we did lots of playing. One day we took the kids to Hollywood Connection and they loved it! For New Years Eve we went to some friends house for a game night. It's been so long since I actually celebrated the new year and I was pretty tired but it was still alot of fun! We got caught up in a heated game of Buzzword and almost missed the countdown to the new year. The kids all played in the basement and had a blast with balloons and mini flash lights. They really did good considering how late we kept them up. I can't say I'm sad to see 2013 go. It was a rough year. But I have new goals to make 2014 much much better and I'm excited to see what it will bring. Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

BELIEVE

I read a book this Christmas called The Joy of Believing. It was about believing in Santa Clause still. That Santa is a symbol of happiness and one who gives and how when we see him we all get excited. He helps us want to love and serve everyone and that we as adults can BELIEVE. I loved it. I love the magic that this season brings. And the kind gestures heard and seen. And sometimes not seen. Children help bring the magic of Christmas into our home for sure. I'm so grateful for these tiny souls who when their eyes light up and smiles glow that it warms my insides. We had a fantastic slow paced day with goodies and lots of playing. It was such a nice day out side we even bundled the kids up and let them ride their new bikes! Here are some pictures from our morning. As always, Santa didn't disappoint!
