We got sad news from Chad's sister, Ann, in mid July that her boyfriend had gone missing. He had told Ann he was going swimming which he did often, but then he disappeared. They found many items of his along a river, but he was no where to be found. He was a master herbalist and had a school and was passionate about passing on his wisdom.
Ann told us he was a perfect match to her. That they were true soul mates. Someone you only come across once in a lifetime. She was shattered. She told us later that she knew he was gone. And a few days later, his body was found in the river. We were so sad for her as we watched her grieving from afar.
We never got to meet him. But I was pleased to see that so many kind people were taking care of Ann. We sent her a little tree to plant in his honor.
What a sad, terrible thing. We were so crushed for her. I'm thankful for the people who helped her heal.
