FRIDAY: Legoland was about 10 minutes from our hotel so we packed a lunch and headed to the land of legos. Brielle was ecstatic when the first thing she saw was a giant lego letter B!
We got there right at opening and walked right into the park! No lines or anything. easy peasy. It was so fun to see all the parks decorated for Halloween! Loved this pumpkin for a photo op.
We saw our first ninja and the kids thought it was so great. Then we saw a few more.
There were only a few things Rylee could ride which I was disappointed with but she seemed to stay busy and happy!
The kids found this roller coaster right off the bat with no lines and they rode it 4 or 5 times in a row. It was a fun one!
While they did that, Rylee rode this ride about 100 times! she loved it!
Then the other kids joined too!
We split ways and took the kids to ride the lego cars. The big kids had their own track and those pics are on Chads phone. But the little lego cars made our day! They were so fun and Brielle just couldn't believe she got to ride a car! She was convinced after that that she knew how to drive!
Rylee did great and loved every second!
When we made it to the lego Friends land the girls were in heaven! They wanted to take pictures with everything!
The carousel was ry's favorite ride of them all. That is all she wanted to ride!
Cute little lego city play land. Mollie is in Jail, and Bri a princess on a balcony!
Teeny train that Carter was quite bored with.
And I wish this shot would have turned out better...it was sunny and HOT! But heres all my kiddos peeking their heads through a lego window!
Star wars lego land was impressive.
At the end of the day, we visited the lego shop to let the kids pick out a souveneir. They all walked away with something fun. And look at these cute lego girls!
Carter was in heaven and had the hardest time choosing!
The kids loved building a lego car and getting to race them.
While the bigs went on another coaster me and Ry hung out at the kiddie area. She fell in love with this knight.
Every ride Carter rode his arms were straight up in the air no matter what. Silly thrill seeker kid!
Our favorite ride was the submarine ride! There was an interactive game in the inside that allowed you to treasure hunt as you made you way through the ride. It was super creative and lots of fun! There was real sea life to see too.
Rylee was crushed when she couldn't ride this ride! If you plan to go to legoland, check the age and height requirements. Most of them are 4 years old to ride. She kept saying, "But mom, I'm not scared!" Poor thing.
When it was time to go, we took a few pictures on the way out. It closed at 5PM!
So we headed back to the beach to do dinner at Ruby's diner on the pier!
I have a picture when I was in college of me sitting on the exact bench!
I was really unimpressed with it though. The pier was lined with fishermen and we couldn't even see out our window because these people were blocking it! The food was mediocre and service just ok. But I guess its an experience we won't forget.
Carter was a big help and kept track of Ry and even carried her at times when she was tired. He's a good kid.
Good bye beach! It was fun to end day 2 at the ocean at sunset. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can go back .
Next up, SEA WORLD!
